Adam Pearce in the Ring with the Raw Survivor Series Team

  • Pearce brought the team to the ring to state their case on which of them should face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.
  • They all state their case except for Braun who decided to give Pearce a headbutt.

Earlier Today – Hurt Business with the New Day

  • Cedric got in Xavier Woods’ face. Woods agreed to give the Hurt Business a shot.

New Day defeats Cedric and Shelton – 21:45

  • The match ended in a double count out, but the Hurt Business convinced the New Day to restart the match.
  • Xavier Woods used a sunset flip on Shelton Benjamin to get the pinfall victory.

Charly Caruso Talks with Adam Pearce

  • Pearce explains that Strowman was escorted away from the building.
  • Lashley comes by to talk with Pearce. Bobby mentions that he was the only champion from Raw to win at Survivor Series. Pearce excuses himself to talk with Lashley.

Caruso Talks with Pearce Again

  • Charly asks again about Pearce’s decision regarding the WWE Championship. Randy Orton makes an appearance.
  • Pearce excuses him again.

Sarah Schreiber with Lana

  • Lana says if she’s dreaming, don’t wake me up.

Charly with Pearce Again

  • Pearce announces that there will be a series of three singles matches. The winners will face each other next week in a triple threat match. The winner of that match will be the #1 Contender. The first match will be Sheamus v. Matt Riddle . . . next.

The Other Two Matches were Announced During Riddle v. Sheamus

  • Keith Lee v. Bobby Lashley
  • AJ Styles v. Randy Orton

Riddle defeats Sheamus – 20:47

  • Sheamus was locking in a cloverleaf, but Riddle countered into a roll up for the pinfall victory.

Asuka Sees Lana in the Hallway

  • Asuka says that she heard that Lana wants a title shot. Lana says, “oh no. that’s not what I said.”
  • Asuka brushed that off and said, “It’s ok. I like challenges. I accept. See you in the ring.”

Firefly Fun House

  • They talk about friends and how they’ll let you down. The friendship frog shows up in the fun house.
  • Bliss squashes the friendship frog and they have a brief moment of silence and run a video package for the Friendship Frog.
  • Bray says it was a real shame he. . .croaked.

Asuka defeats Lana – 01:00

  • Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler join the announce team.
  • Jax and Baszler attacked Asuka, which led to the ref calling for the bell.

Post Match

  • Nia Jax tried to put Asuka through a table. Lana made the save. Nia Jax said she wants a tag match.

Asuka and Lana defeat Shayna and Nia – 06:44

  • Nia Jax ran at Lana, but Lana moved at the last second. Nia went flying over the announce table.
  • Asuka rolled up Shayna for the pinfall victory.

Matt Riddle Approaches MVP to Talk about Business

  • Riddle pitches Pizza flavored yogurt.
  • MVP tells Riddle to get all his ideas together, and they’ll hear them. If the Hurt Business likes his ideas, they’ll do some business. If they don’t like his ideas, they’ll do some business.

Keith Lee defeats Bobby Lashley – 12:37

  • Behind the referee’s back, MVP pushed Keith Lee into the ring post.
  • Lashley then attempted to put the Hurt Lock on Keith, but Lee powered out.
  • To “protect his investment,” MVP hit the ring and attacked Lee.
  • Lee wins by DQ.

Nikki Cross Backstage Interview

  • Alexa made it clear that she doesn’t want me. She wants the Fiend.
  • Cross says she’s going to beat the Fiend out of Alexa Bliss.

Alexa Bliss defeats Nikki Cross – 04:16

  • Bliss was also aggressive in the match as she tried to beat the Fiend out of Alexa.
  • Alexa seemed to snap out of it. She crouched down in the middle of the ring crying.
  • As they hugged, Bliss shifted her weight into Sister Abigail for the pinfall victory.

AJ Styles defeats Randy Orton – 12:48

  • During the match, The Fiend made an appearance which led to a temporary distraction.
  • Moments later, the lights went out. When the lights came back on, The Fiend was on the ring apron. He disappeared again, but AJ nailed Randy with the Phenomenal Forearm
