November 26th Smackdown

*Roman Reigns (& Paul Heyman) to the ring after the show opened with Kayla in the ring, mentioning rumors of Brock Lesnar…Heyman says Roman doesn’t deal with rumors…Roman says “rumors give losers false hope”…says SmackDown is getting desperate by booking a Battle Royal to find his next opponent.

(1)  Jeff Hardy & Drew McIntyre defeat Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss…McIntyre hits the Claymore on Moss…Hardy follows with the Swan-ton Bomb for the win (08:26).

*Paul Heyman approaches Kayla backstage…says Brock Lesnar is hiding behind his suspension because he’s scared of Roman…& if Kayla doesn’t have a confirmation or denial on Lesnar by the end of the night, she’s “gone.”

(2)  Cesaro defeats Ridge Holland…Holland dominates but Cesaro rolls him up for the win (02:48).

*Drew McIntyre in Pearce & Sonya’s office…he expects an invitation to the Black Friday Invitational Battle Royal…Sonya says the list isn’t finalized yet.

(3)  Angel Garza defeats Rick Boogs…in a THANKSGIVING LEFTOVERS match…Humberto starts playing Boogs’ guitar on top of a table full of leftovers…Shinsuke kicks his legs out & sends him crashing through the table…the distraction allows Angel to land a Superkick & follow with the Wing Clipper for the win (03:10).

*Charlotte Flair to the ring…Cole says she must be upset about the Survivor Series match…Charlotte says Becky cheating proved everything she’s ever said about her…Charlotte says she is still the most dominant woman…Toni Störm interrupts…Charlotte says she barely knows Toni exists…Charlotte attacks, they roll to the floor…Charlotte pie-faces Toni, literally, from the leftovers table.

*Pearce is approached backstage by Kayla…she asks about the participants in the Battle Royal…Pearce will post the list outside his office once finalized…she asks about Brock Lesnar’s suspension being lifted…Pearce doesn’t believe it’ll be lifted any time soon because Lesnar is a menace.

*Sasha confronts Sonya backstage…says she was given a team full of traitors…if Naomi was part of her team, she could have won…Sonya books Sasha & Naomi vs. Shayna & Natty.

*Xia Li vignette…she hates vultures…she is the protector…coming soon.

(4)  Sasha Banks & Naomi defeat Shayna Baszler & Natalya…Sonya joins commentary…Naomi uses a Sunset Flip into the ring to roll Natty up for the win (10:13).

*Drew McIntyre & many other Superstars are outside Pearce’s office to see the list for the Battle Royal…Sheamus informs Drew that he “didn’t make the cut.”

*Drew McIntyre to the ring just after the opening bell for the Battle Royal…he clears the ring with Angela…Pearce to the ring as we go to commercial…Drew has allowed the match to proceed when we get back.

(5)  Sami Zayn wins the Black Friday Invitational Battle Royal…FINAL FOUR: Happy Corbin, Jeff Hardy, Ricochet, Sheamus…Sheamus tosses Ricochet out…Corbin tosses Sheamus out…Hardy tosses Corbin out, to seemingly win until Sami Zayn reappears & flips Hardy out for the win (14:18)…earning the next shot at the Universal Championship…

*AFTER…Kayla into the ring to interview Sami, but Kayla gets word in her earpiece that the suspension has been lifted & next week SmackDown will feature an appearance by Brock Lesnar…Sami seems upset that the announcement has stolen his moment…Pearce at ringside looks like he wants to puke…Roman is seen in his locker room & is definitely not pleased as the show ends.
