Today’s Matches:
- Yota Tsuji v. Gabriel Kid
- Juice Robinson v. Toru Yano
- Hirooki Goto v. Zack Sabre Jr.
- Hiroshi Tanahashi v Yoshi-Hashi
- Kenta v. Evil
- Tetsuya Naito v. Sanada
Tsuji and Kidd Ends in Draw – 15:00
- The time limit expired with both men on their feet engaged in a striking battle.
Juice Robinson defeats Toru Yano – 06:41
- Match starts with Yano giving Juice a Toru Yano shirt. Yano would attempt a roll up as Juice put on the shirt.
- Yano taped Juice’s ankles together outside the ring, but Juice was able to answer the 20 count.
- Juice hit the left hand of god, but Yano evaded Pulp Fiction. As Yano went for a roll up, Juice sat down and took the pinfall victory.
Zack Sabre defeats Hirooki Goto – 04:01
- Sabre got a quick roll up for the pinfall victory.
Hiroshi Tanahashi defeats Yoshi-Hashi – 18:40
- Tanahashi used the High Fly Flow to get the pinfall victory.
Evil defeats Kenta – 15:40
- As expected with these two, there was plenty of nonsense in this match. Kenta used the briefcase and Togo interfered a whole bunch.
- Ultimately the match ended when Dick Togo got in the ring. Kenta lifted him up for the GTS and Evil struck Kenta with a low blow. After Evil connected with Everything is Evil, the referee counted the pinfall victory for Evil.
Sanada defeats Tetsuya Naito – 27:07
- At 23 minutes, Sanada had Naito in Skull End. When Naito became unresponsive, Sanada let go and climbed for his moonsault. Per usual, Naito moved out of the way leaving Sanada to crash and burn.
- Naito hit a somewhat sloppy Destino a few moments later, but Sanada kicked out of the pinfall attempt. Naito went for Destino again, but Sanada evaded.
- When Naito went for some sort of slam, Sanada slipped out and hit a modified version of the destino. Sanada followed up with two moonsaults to get the pinfall victory.
- With this victory, Sanada has pinned a fellow Los Ingobernables stablemate and the IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Even without winning the G1, Sanada will likely get a title shot before the end of the calendar year.
