Randy Orton Promo Backstage Kicks Off the Show
- He runs back the events of Clash of Champions and the events of Monday Night Raw last week.
- Orton wanted to guarantee the legends felt when the ambulance doors closed at Clash.
- Randy says Drew’s legacy will be waiting for him if he can last one more match inside Hell in a Cell.
- Drew McIntyre opens the door and attacks Orton. McIntyre gets the best of Orton, but officials come in to break things up.
Rose, Brooke, and Asuka defeat Vega, Natalya, and Lana – 04:57
- Mandy Rose got a blind tag and then hit a running knee strike on Lana for the pinfall victory.
Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax Came to Ringside
- Lana saved Natalya from being Samoan Dropped through the table, but that resulted in Nia Jax hitting the Samoan Drop on Lana.
R-Truth Back Stage
- He’s going over the draft with Little Jimmy.
- Drew Gulak comes by dressed as a janitor. He attacks Truth and pins him for the 24/7 championship.
Tom Phillips Casually Announces Tag Title Match
- Baszler and Jax v. Riott Squad
MVP Talks with Crews, Ricochet, and Ali
- They’re talking about the draft. MVP puts them on notice and offers one spot in the Hurt Business.
Seth Rollins and Murphy in the Ring
- Murphy says he needs to get something off his chest. He’s done everything Seth wanted and more. He continues to say that if you want me to still be his disciple, then he needs to apologize to Aalyah. Seth Rollins refuses and says he could have revealed a lot more, but he didn’t Rollins repeatedly points at his chest to say messiah and then at Murphy’s chest saying disciple.
Braun Strowman Talks with Adam Pearce
- Pearce says Strowman can’t have a sanctioned match, but he can get him an exhibition.
- Keith Lee walks up and says “Sign Me Up.”
Rollins and Murphy defeat Dominik and Carillo – 04:11
- Rollins yelled at Murphy the entire match, but it was Murphy that hit a high knee on Carillo to get the pinfall victory.
Seth and Murphy Backstage
- Rollins says that Murphy needs to apologize to him. If Murphy wants to be his disciple, then he has until 10PM to make the apology. Otherwise there will be hell to pay.
Kevin Owens Show
- Tonight’s KO Show has a different feel because he feels different. When the Fiend touches you, you change.
- Kevin tells Bray to pack up the puppets and get out here.
- Bray comes on the screen with the Firefly Fun House. Wyatt thanks Kevin for inviting him on the KO Show because that’s what friends do.
- Kevin gets upset and tells Bray to get down there, so he doesn’t have to wait until Friday. Bray says this Friday, you’ll see what he’s all about.
- Kevin Owens leaves to go find the Fiend and Aleister Black attacks him.
Charly Caruso with Drew McIntyre
- Drew accepts Randy Orton’s challenge for Hell in the Cell.

Strowman and Lee Ends in Count Out – 01:12
- Commentary makes a point of saying that the rules remain the same even though its a non-sanctioned match.
- The brawl continues to the outside where both men get counted out.
- Strowman plowed Lee through the barricade after the match.
- As Strowman began walking away, Keith Lee came at him. They continued their fight up the ramp.
- Lee tackles Strowman off the stage. They’re both down.
Bianca Belair is the Smart-Est
- She rocks a Trivia game.
Drew Gulak Hides Backstage
- Tozawa and R-Truth find him and a battle breaks out that spills into a dumpster. R-Truth walks away with the title.
MVP Talks In the Ring
- MVP says that Crews, Ali, and Ricochet will win a match now and again, but they’ll never win the war.
- He then speaks to Retribution and tells them to stay away. He threatens them.
- Ali comes out to say the issue is that you pushed me and I pushed back.
- Ricochet picks on the Hurt Business by saying he didn’t want to keep MVP waiting until 10. It’s a pass on joining the Hurt Business.
- MVP just tells Lashley and Benjamin to focus on Ricochet.
Lashley and Benjamin defeat Ricochet and Crews – 09:43
- Lashley used the Hurt Lock for the submission victory over Apollo Crews.
Aalyah and Murphy Backstage
- Aalyah tells Murphy that he doesn’t need to worry about her. He needs to worry about Seth.
Hurt Business Backstage
- Ali comes up to them and says he’ll be alone out there and he suggests that MVP comes out alone too.
Seth Rollins in the Ring
- He awaits Murphy’s apology. Murphy comes out to the ring.
- Murphy does not immediately apologize and Rollins keeps talking.
- Rollins grabs him by the beard and screams at him to apologize. Murphy takes Rollins down and they battle to the outside.
- Seth tries to use a kendo stick, but Murphy gets it from Rollins. He hits Seth several times and demands that Seth apologize to Aalyah.
- Rollins apologizes while on the mat in the ring. Murphy puts the kendo stick down and Rollins goes after Murphy’s eyes and then gets the Kendo stick.
- After Rollins broke the kendo stick, he got a steel chair. Aalyah was in the ring standing over Murphy. Seth backed off as the Mysterio family filled up the ring. The Mysterio family ushers Aalyah out of the ring. Rollins watches from a monitor backstage.
Jax and Baszler defeat Riott Squad – 09:58
- Shayna Baszler destroyed Ruby’s arm before tagging Nia Jax in.
- After Morgan and Riott made a good run, Baszler cinched in the Kirifuda clutch on Ruby for the pinfall victory.
Street Profits Backstage Promo
- They’re ticked at Randy for attacking the legends last week.
MVP and Mustafa Ali Begin a Match
- Retribution comes out and Mustafa Ali lines up with the Hurt Business. Ali breaks rank and gets in the face of Mace and T-Bar. Mustafa Ali turns around and directs Mace and T-Bar to attack the Hurt Business.
- Ali is with the Hurt Business.
- Retribution attacks the Hurt Business and wins the battle. Ali poses with Retribution to end the segment.
Orton, Roode, and Ziggler defeat McIntyre and Street Profits – 10:17
- Drew McIntyre hit the Claymore on Robert Roode, Orton surprised Drew with an RKO for the pinfall victory.
