Blake Chadwick and the Announcers Point of View – Episode 15 of CCW Insider
Blake Chadwick has been announcing and providing professional wrestling commentary for half of his life. His 18 year journey to the Last Territory has included many highlights like the time he called an NWA World Championship match between Nick Aldis and Jake Hager.
Growing up in the state of Virginia (minutes from the famous DX Army invasion of Monday Night Nitro), Blake found himself immersed in pro wrestling from birth. You read that right, Blake’s nanny watched wrestling with Blake in her arms just days after he came home from the hospital.
After leaving NWA country and graduating with a degree in communications, Blake calls the action for all varieties of combat and “traditional” sports – but wrestling is his love.
Blake offers a fascinating view into pro wrestling, it’s presentation, and how it takes more than a lifetime of wrestling memories to make a great commentator.
