6. How Many Special Moments in Wrestling History are Lost in Time

How Many Special Moments in Wrestling History are Lost in Time?

On this day in 1994, if you tuned in to Monday Night Raw you were treated to a show that featured Ted DiBiase’s fake Undertaker beating Butch Banks.  You saw Lex Luger squash Chad Miller and the team of Bam Bam Bigelow & Irwin R. Schyster beat Tatanka & Doink the Clown.

The show would close with Bob Backlund getting Kevin Krueger to tap to his Crossface Chicken Wing submission.

This was a show that was taped the prior week in Youngstown, OH.  Not exactly a classic by any stretch of the imagination, but many of the names are surely familiar to a wrestling fan of the era.

You might even ask yourself, where were the champions…any of them?

They wrestled that night . . . but the matches might be lost.
