What Match Tested the Conscience of Paul Heyman?

You don’t have to think too hard to conjure up images of the Exploding Barbed Wire death match between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega from February 2021.

I know you remember it . . .  it’s a match that T.S. Eliot could have called himself because the match ended “not with a bang, but with a whimper.”

That match was violent, but it ended with some sparklers and no explosion.

A match so violent that Paul Heyman said “he could not in good conscience subject anybody else to that level of brutality” again.

The match is Born to be Wired and today we’re talking about what happened that caused Paul Heyman to never book another barbed wire match.
