PWA Feats of Strength
- Updated: December 4, 2020
PWA Feats of Strength
“PWA Feats of Strength” comes from Contributor “Alcoholic” Adam Pokrajac. Pokrajac routinely provides the cold hard truth on Australian Wrestling with a heavy focus on New South Wales. He believes this is the most under appreciated wrestling scene in the world today and he reviews it with a beer in his hand.
When and Where to Watch
Your favourite Alcoholic Adam breaks down PWA’s Feats of Strength show that takes place on December 5th at 4:00AM Eastern Time (8:00PM Local Time in Australia). To watch the event head over to OVO Play where you can catch the action live.
The Card
Steph De Lander v Shazza McKenzie
Steph has a chip on her shoulder because her matches are getting announced close to show time when some would argue that her matches should be the first ones announced.
Both women are looking to bounce back after they had devasting losses with Shazza getting belted from pillar to post against Kyle Fletcher and Steph submitting in a banger main event against Charli Evans & Jessica Troy
Adam’s Predication: In a match where it’s strength v speed, Steph comes out on top and officially joins Generation after feeling disrespected being announced so late.
Silvio Milano & Aaron Jake v Back Pain (Jack Pain & “Backman” Lex Lennock)
Back Pain is on a roll right now squashing the green dingos’ in a dark match at the last show. Lennock also won a fatal 4 way at Wristlocks & Pile-drives.
Silvio got replaced by Jack Pain and must be feeling disappointed and Aaron Jake was ditched by Rhys Angel to focus on Generation Now. Meaning these 2 have a point to prove.
Adam’s Predication: Back pain has too much momentum and has more natural chemistry compared to AJ & Silvio.
Parker Tomas v Michael Spencer
Not much build but a couple of serious grapplers going out there to see who is better in the spirit of competition.
Parker is the Steve Adams of the wrestling world adding something new his matches every time he wrestles and just getting better and better after every match.
Spencer is a crafty veteran and knows all the tricks of the trade. They don’t call him the prince of all wrestling for nothing.
Adam’s Prediction: Spencer wins due to Spencer’s tag team partner causing a distraction allowing Spencer will capitalize.
Unsocial Jordan v Big Fudge (Ironman)
We lost track of how long this match is going to last because of the contract signing where both gentlemen started blurting things out. JT Robinson got fed up calling it for 5 minutes and walked off screen.
For those who don’t know, these two have a long standing rivalry having serval matches such as the Tables, Ladders and Chocolate match a few years ago. Both want to show who is superior once & for all.
Adam’s Predication: Unsocial Jordan will win 3-2 with the decisive fall coming in the dying seconds after Unsocial Jordan cracks Big Fudge which his tripod.
“Tuff Stuff” Ricky South v Kyle Fletcher (No.1 Contenders PWA Heavyweight Championship)
Kyle feels Ricky is unworthy of being no.1 contender for Caveman Ugg’s PWA Heavyweight Championship. Since Ricky has been the no.1 contender since February, why should he hold it for that long? As a result Ricky will defend his contender-ship.
Adam’s Prediction: Ricky will win as it is just a complete waste for him hold the contendership for that long only for him to drop it.
Block A v Block B
Here we have the competitors from the PWA Premiership going up against the other side of the bracket.
There are so many variables that can decide who wins this match.
How will Generation now feel about fighting people from their own faction and teaming up with some of their rivals?
How will the Nations mix in with Jess & Bonza?
The most deciding factor is whether Wahlberg keeps his emotions in check when across the ring from Mick Moretti.
With all the bad blood in this, it’s going be very difficult for the ref to maintain order in this match.
Adam’s Predication: This match will end in no contest where The Old Guard and Generation now members not being able to work as a team and end up fighting the opposing team in their block.
