Final Battle Results

Check below for the ROH Final Battle 2020 Results. The show begins tonight (December 18th) at 9 PM Eastern.

Final Battle Hour One Starts at 8 PM

  • Dalton Castle joins Caprice Colman and Ian Riccaboni on commentary.

  • The four corners survival match is to earn an ROH TV Title Match. It is being conducted under lucha rules (if someone goes out of the ring, another competitor can come in without tagging).
  • LSG hit a splash on Josh Woods, but Josh rolled out. Tony Deppen jumped in the ring and rolled up LSG for the pinfall victory.

  • He says if Rey Horus doesn’t have a match, and I don’t have a match . . . we should have a match.

Brian Johnson Interview

  • He says that the Mecca is killing the internet, which is why he arrived dressed all in black.

Jay Briscoe Backstage

  • Jay says he doesn’t have a match anymore, so he can fight for the tag team titles. Mark tells him it’s too late because he found a partner. Mark tells Jay that maybe he’ll learn his lesson.
  • Shane Taylor approached Jay Briscoe to say that he doesn’t have a match either. They challenge each other.

Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus Explain Pure Tag Rules

Williams and Titus defeat Yehi and Yuta – 13:32

  • This match is wrestled under Pure Rules.
  • Williams and Titus used all their rope breaks within the first five minutes of the match. In tag team matches, breaking up a pin counts as a rope break.
  • Nine minutes into the match, Yehi had Williams in a dragon sleeper in the ropes. Titus couldn’t break the hold or he would be disqualified, so he picked up Yuta and tossed him into Yehi. That apparently didn’t count as Titus breaking up the submission.
  • Yuta and Yehi used their final rope break at the 13 minute mark.
  • Williams held Yuta in a crossface. Yuta made it to the ropes, but he didn’t have any rope breaks left. Yuta had to submit.
