Live Results Begin at 8PM

Begins with a Video Package Hyping Goldberg’s Appearance

Announced a Symphony of Destruction Match between the team of Braun Strowman and Elias vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro

Uso and New Day Promos

They hyped each other up. Once the New Day gets through with Miz and Morrison, the Usos want to face them for the championships. Miz and Morrison came out with microphones. They debuted their new catch phrase, “Miz, Morrison, Hey Hey, Ho Ho.” The crowd didn’t catch on. Ziggler and Roode came out. Smackdown went to commercial.

The New Day and The Usos defeated The Miz, John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode

The match began during the commercial break. The Usos and New Days took turns hitting Dolph Ziggler in the corner. Morrison pulled Kofi to the outside where Miz kicked him onto the floor. Kofi Kingston got isolated and triple teamed on the outside and then again on the inside. With Kofi perched on the post in his opponent’s corner, he began to fight back, but Morrison hit a step up enziguri knocking Kofi to the floor. Smackdown went to commercial.

As the show came back from commercial, Ziggler continued to beat down on Kofi. Kofi got the tag to Big E who went crazy hitting Miz with several belly to belly suplexes before connecting with a big splash. As Miz flew to the outside, Morrison made a tag and hit a high knee in Big E’s face. Morrison continued the offense with a shinging wizard and a shooting star press on Big E.

Jey Uso hit a superkick on Robert Roode for the pinfall victory.

Daniel Bryan and Drew Gulak Segment

Drew Gulak has a Power Point Presentation on all the things Daniel Bryan is doing wrong. Gulak mentioned that he watched Daniel Bryan’s matches including the one against Heath Slater. At that point, Slater ran up to say he wanted a rematch. Bryan said OK and told Gulak to help Slater.

Tucker Confronted Mandy Rose

Mandy was confused about the text messages. Sonya DeVille told Mandy not to worry about it.

Renee Young with Lacey Evans

Lacey is focused on getting back on track and getting that Smackdown Title.

Braun Strowman and Elias defeated Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro

Elias had a song that he came out singing to introduce Braun Strowman.

The match started with Shinsuke vs. Elias, and they used a Tamborine as a weapon. Braun Strowman put Cesaro through a drum. After Sami hit Braun with a Ukulele, Braun chased after Sami until Shinsuke hit Braun with a guitar. Smackdown went to commercial.

Back from commercial, Cesaro had a cowbell, but Elias took it away. Shinsuke Nakamura kicked Elias off the apron and through a table. Strowman then tackled Cesaro, tossed Nakamura into the remaining table pieces, and tossed Cesaro over the announce table. Strowman then through Nakamura into the stairs and barricade following up with a chokeslam to Cesaro on the apron.

Sami came up behind Strowman and hit him with a keyboard. Cesaro and Shinsuke then suplexed Strowman throw a bass. Shinsuke went for a Kinshasa on Elias, but Elias moved and Nakamura hit a gong. Elias then hit Cesaro with a guitar. Elias hit an elbow smash from the top turnbuckle through a table to the floor and Braun Strowman powerslammed Nakamura from the announce table onto a piano. Strowman got the pinfall victory.

Corbin Interview

Corbin says Roman has never defeated him in a 1:1 match. He must have forgotten the Royal Rumble where Roman beat him in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Corbin says everyone will bow down to the king after Super Show Down.

A Moment of Bliss

Alexa Bliss recaps the Hall of Fame inductees for 2020 (Batista and NWO). She then announces that the Bellas are the next inductees, and she brings them out. The Bellas said how great it was to be on Alexa’s show.

Daniel Bryan came out with Birdie (Brie and Bryan’s daughter).

Daniel Bryan defeated Heath Slater

Drew Gulak joined the commentary team. Heath Slater actually took the early advantage, but Bryan quickly came back. Slater attacked the knee of Daniel Bryan. Much to the disappointment of Gulak, Slater went to the top rope and missed his dive. Bryan followed up with the Yes Kicks. Slater countered a running knee with a roll up for a near fall. Bryan just Slater with another knee for the pinfall victory.

Backstage with Mandy Rose

She was waiting for her ride when Ziggler walked up and offered to take her. She accepted. When she walked out, Otis walked out from behind some equipment. He is a mess.

Sheamus Declares Himself an Entrant in the Elimination Chamber

Shorty G and Apollo Crews Backstage

Shorty G tried to amp up Apollo, but Apollo didn’t want the pep talk.

Naomi defeated Carmella to Win a Smackdown Championship Opportunity

Carmella began with a side headlock and a shoulder tackle, but Naomi hit a flying back elbow to even the score. Carmella sent Naomi to the mat with a head scissors takedown, but Naomi caught Mella with a kick to the face and a springboard cross body. When Naomi climbed the ropes, Bayley jumped up on the apron allowing Carmella once again to hit a head scissors takeover. As the referee ejected Bayley, Carmella hit a suicide dive on Naomi.

Back from the commercial break, Carmella maintained the advantage until Naomi managed to hit a kick and a tornillo to the floor. Naomi went for a pin, but Carmella transitioned into her submission. As Carmella ran the ropes, Naomi hit a rear view for a near fall.

Naomi hit a top rope blockbuster and a split legged moonsault for the victory.

Goldberg

They did the whole door knocking and security escorted walk to the arena. Goldberg told the Fiend that he was ready and Bray Wyatt immediately came on the screen to introduce his friends. The lights went out and the Fiend was right behind Goldberg.

Goldberg speared the Fiend, Bray got up, the lights went out, and he was gone. Goldberg’s music came on and the show went off the air.

Smackdown takes place at the Gila River Arena tonight in Glendale, Arizona. The show begins at 8:00 PM Eastern on the USA Network. Announced for the show:

Goldberg Returns

Goldberg will be in Glendale for the Smackdown Go Home show preceding next week’s Super Showdown event in Saudi Arabia.

The Bella Twins to Appear on A Moment of Bliss

This appearance may include the announcement of their induction into the 2020 Hall of Fame class.

Naomi vs. Carmella with the Winner to face Bayley at Super Showdown for the Smackdown Title

Bayley defeated Carmella last week on Smackdown. Bayley attacked Carmella after the match, but Naomi made the save. Now both Naomi and Carmella want a title shot.

The New Day and the Usos vs. Miz, John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode

The Usos have been caught in an on-going program with Dolph and Roode, while the Miz and John Morrison challenge the New Day for the Tag Titles at Super ShowDown.
