Adam Rebooks Every Money in the Bank Match
“Adam Rebooks Every Money in the Bank Match” comes from Contributor “Alcoholic” Adam Pokrajac. Pokrajac routinely provides the cold hard truth on Australian Wrestling with a heavy focus on New South Wales. He believes this is the most under appreciated wrestling scene in the world today and he reviews it with a beer in his hand.
With Money Bank only hours away, Alcoholic Adam has decided to fantasy book all the Money in the Banks winners.
Edge WM 21
- It was the perfect elevation for Edge needed The match has been a main event ever since.
- Cashes in on Cena at New Year’s Revolution.
RVD WM22
- For a relaunch for the ECW brand, it needed it to be led by RVD.
- RVD cashes in on Cena at ECW one nightstand.
Mr Kennedy WM23
- Hindsight is 20-20. Kennedy was on the verge of the main event. It’s just unfortunate he had to relinquish the briefcase to Edge.
- Edge cashes in on Undertaker.
CM Punk WM24
- CM Punk was hands down the hot new thing in WWE at the time. He’s the sole reason why I tuned in to ECW in 2007 and 2008.
- Cashes on Edge Night of Champions.
Chris Jericho WM25
- Jericho was worth more than just a match with some old timers.
- Cashes in on Edge at Backlash 2009.
Sheamus WM26
- Even though it was a massive change of pace, waiting a little bit longer for Sheamus would have more people anticipating. He could have been more cemented as a main eventer.
- Cashes in on Cena fatal 4 way.
Drew McIntyre, The Miz 2010 MITB
- Drew McIntyre
- The chosen one needs to fulfil the prophecy and this would be his natural progression up the card.
- Cashes in on Rey Mysterio at Summerslam.
- The Miz
- Rewatching some 2011 clips, Miz was the best on Microphone. It just feels right for him to be a threat around the WWE Championship.
- Cashes in on Cena night after WM 27.
Del Rio, Bryan 2011 MITB
- Daniel Bryan
- Both Sheamus & Henry go thru the table at the same time and Daniel Bryan cashes in his MITB briefcase pinning Henry.
- Without knowing the ruling of if Henry was the champion, the belt is vacant.
- Alberto Del Rio
- Well since there is no WWE Championship to cash in on, Del Rio cashes it in on the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. This guarantees himthe no. 30 spot in the Royal Rumble.
Following CM Punk Unification 1 Briefcase @ WM 28
Dolph Ziggler 2012 MITB
- Similarly, to Drew, it’s a natural progression up the card after being so consistent.
- Ziggler cashes in the night after WM 29 on Cena.
Randy Orton 2013 MITB
- This might seem a very bland option but with Orton winning the MITB, it sets up the authority storyline which leads to one of the most feel-good moments with Daniel Bryan conquering the Authority.
- Orton cashes in at Summerslam on Bryan.
Seth Rollins 2014 MITB
- I would argue that Seth Rollins is the best holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase ever.
- Plus, the heist of the century is hands down the best cash in.
- Rollins cashes in on Brock & Daniel Bryan WM 31.
Roman Reigns 2015 MITB
- We use this briefcase as a tool to turn Roman heel.
- Roman Cashes in on Raw with no one being a champion meaning he is automatically the new champion.
Brand split
Kevin Owens 2016 MITB
- The best debut match in the history of WWE. The only way you go up from there is to give him the belt.
- Owens cashes in on Rollins 2 weeks after Summerslam.
Carmella, Baron Corbin MITB 2017
- Carmella
- Carmella wants to be the one to end Asuka’s winning streak and take the championship at the same time.
- Carmella cashes in and fails v Asuka at Backlash.
- Baron Corbin
- Corbin was then on the verge of breaking out.
- Corbin’s Cash in on AJ Styles on the Smackdown after Royal Rumble.
Ember Moon, Bobby Lashley MITB 2018
- Ember Moon
- We select Ember Moon for the long term storytelling.
- She was never able to defeat Asuka, so she decides to cash in her MITB ahead of time on the grandest stage.
- Ember Moon cashes in at WM35 wins the championship and breaks Asuka streak.
- Bobby Lashley
- Bobby Lashley is an absolute unit who lets his actions do the talking for him. All WWE did in his first year from returning was embarrass him by pointing to his ass and whatever that sister segment was . . .
- But in our booking, Lashley is a badass who cashes in advance at Hell in Cell against Roman. Lashley defeats Roman.
Bayley, Andrade MITB 2019
- Bayley
- Bayley was getting bland being the happy girl next door character. She needed the changeup.
- Cashes in on Ember Moon at MITB.
- Andrade
- Ok, Rollins’ chase for the Universal Championship was brilliant, but after capturing the belt it was very forced and artificial.
- So, with Andrade, it completely freshens up the main event scene.
- Andrade cashes on Rollins at Stomping Grounds.
Sasha Banks, Jeff Hardy MITB 2020
- Sasha Banks
- No disrespect to the women’s division but in this case, you have to go with the devil you know.
- This also gives you two options to have Bayley and Sasha hold all the gold or Bayley nervous about Sasha cashing in on her.
- In this case, Sasha Banks will cash in on Bayley returning at Summerslam. Sasha wins.
- Jeff Hardy
- Hardy is still beloved by the fans and would-be feel-good moment bouncing back from all his issues.
- Jeff will cash in advance against Braun in the last man standing match. Jeff will outsmart the monster.
