                    April 14th AEW Dark Results

                    Cody and Tony Shiavone are on commentary for Dark tonight. Cody was on point with comedic commentary. Billy Gunn started out at 270, but during the match Cody saw him grow to 7 foot tall and 290 pounds.

                    Shawn Spears defeats Billy Gunn

                    The first three to four minutes of the match involved Shawn Spears running away mixed with a bit of mat wrestling. Eventually Austin Gunn distracted Shawn Spears and Billy got some offense ramming Spears head into the barricade and the ring steps. Shawn took a time out to rest his head on Dasha’s lap. After evading, Shawn pushed Billy into the post and staging area to take advantage of the match.

                    Billy countered the C4 and nearly hit the Famous-er, but Shawn evaded. A few moments later, Billy Gunn hit the famous-er, but Shawn rolled out of the ring. Back in the ring, Billy missed a stinger splash and fell victim to the C4. Shawn got the pinfall victory.

                     

                    April 14th AEW Dark Preview

                    All Elite Wrestling has only announced one match for tonight’s episode of Dark available on You Tube starting at 7 PM. If announcements are made later in the day, this post will be updated to reflect the new information.

                    Shawn Spears vs. Billy Gunn

                    Billy Gunn hasn’t wrestled a singles match all year, but he does have a tag team victory over Shawn Spears and Peter Avalon. Shawn Spears (1-1) lost in last week’s TNT Championship Tournament Quarter Final matchup with Cody. His only victory for the year came when he defeated Shawn Dean.
