Miz TV

Gregory Hamilton attempted to introduce The Miz, but The Usos came out followed by the New Day. They didn’t want to get blind sided by Miz and Morrison. The Usos both think they’re going to win the Tag Titles from Miz and Morrison at WrestleMania. They fought over who had who beat last week. Miz and Morrison finally came out on the ramp. Miz basically said the New Day and Usos act friendly only until the competition sets in.

A brawl between all three teams started with Miz and Morrison getting the best of the exchange.

Tucker caught Ziggler, sent him into the corner, and then a pump kick. Dolph Ziggler connected with a DDT as Smackdown went to commercial break. Back from commercial Ziggler held Tucker in a side headlock, but Tucker started laying in some heavy blows before throwing Ziggler out of the ring.

Daniel Bryan defeats Shinsuke Nakamura by Disqualification

Shinsuke Nakamura and Daniel Bryan wrestled to the mat where Bryan stomped on the elbow of Nakamura. After a drop kick, Nakamura rolled to the outside and Bryan followed with a dropkick and a high knee of the apron. Back in the ring, Bryan hit a top rope missile drop kick and a running single legged dropkick in the corner. When Daniel Bryan went for a top rope hurricanrana, Shinsuke held on and came off the middle rope with kicking Bryan.

Prior to Smackdown going to commercial break, Shinsuke Nakamura hit a sliding German suplex. Back from the break, Daniel Bryan hit the Yes Kicks. Shinsuke ducked the last kick and connected with a number of knee strikes and some yes kicks of his own. Bryan caught the last kick and connected with a high kick for a near fall.

Shinsuke hit a single leg dropkick and a release suplex. When Shinsuke went for the kinshasa, Bryan picked the leg and cinched in a single leg crab. Bryan transitioned out of an arm bar and into the Yes Lock. Before Nakamura could submit, Cesaro hit the ring causing a disqualification.

John Cena

Cena talks about how nobody knows what will happen tomorrow and Sunday. He doesn’t know the rules of a Firefly Fun House match. John goes on to say that the Fiend thrives on uncertainty. Big Match John says he will not panic and will defeat Bray Wyatt. He says Wyatt is not even on the level below him. John accepts the challenge and all the puppets pop up in the crowd. Ramblin Rabbit says after WrestleMania, John will play with them forever.

The lights go down and the Fiend appears on the balcony. As John Cena stared at The Fiend on the balcony, Bray Wyatt stood up behind him to say “Let Me In.”

April 3rd Episode of Smackdown Preview

Roman Reigns

We all know from various news reports that Roman Reigns will not compete at WrestleMania. While WWE has not officially confirmed a change to one of the WrestleMania main events, one assumes that Braun Strowman will take Roman’s place. On the last stop before WrestleMania, will WWE make an official announcement?

Will John Cena Accept the Firefly Fun House Match

Similar to the Boneyard Match between Undertaker and AJ Styles, nobody really knows the rules of a Firefly Fun House match. Despite not know the rules will John Cena accept the Fiend’s proposal for the match?

The Usos and New Day Stop by Miz TV

The Miz and Jon Morrison will defend the Smackdown Tag Team titles at WrestleMania in a ladder match. Their interference in last week’s match between the New Day and the Usos resulted in a no contest finish. Michael Cole announced afterward that Miz and Morrison would defend against both teams. While all that seems interesting, outside reports seem to indicate that Miz was not able to compete at WrestleMania. Similar to the Roman Reigns situation, will WWE confirm a change before WrestleMania.

Will Elias Make it to WrestleMania

King Corbin tossed him off the Performance Center balcony, but Elias says he can go. We’ll see.

No Matches Announced

Similar to Raw earlier this week, WWE has not announced any matches for tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
