Wrestling is about as exciting today as it has been in the last 20 years.

If you can’t find something you love, let me know what you like and I’ll find it for you.

Of course if you’re subscribing to this newsletter, you’re probably already a big wrestling fan, but . . .

If you are one of the people getting this newsletter that loved “the way wrestling used to be” but can’t seem to find what you’re looking for today, then I want to help you out. Just send me an email: [email protected].

On to this week’s stuff!

Hope you enjoy!

1. What I Found in Chicago
I went to Chicago for 6 days with an itinerary consisting of 9 wrestling events and 2 sessions of AEW Fan Fest.

I had high expectations for AEW’s events and the debut of Bryan Danielson, Ruby Soho, and Adam Cole (Bay Bay) more than delivered on that expectation.

What you can’t always expect to see in 2021 is a 60 minute broadway, Jon Moxley showing up at an Indy Show, and an appearance by the Powers of Pain (The Warlord and Barbarian from the 1980’s and 90’s). I saw all of that in Chicago at some of the non-AEW events.

If you want to hear more about this random collection of Chicago experiences, check out these links to The Daily Wrestling News Show Episode 155 (Back from Chicago) on Apple or Spotify.

2. Support Your Local Promotions.
I won’t bore you with the blow by blow of my Chicago adventures (check out the above podcast for that), but I will remind you to support your local wrestling promotion. You never know who from wrestling’s top promotions might be wrestling right down the street or who else from that show might be a huge star in a couple of years.

Last month, I went to a CCW show on the Treasure Coast of Florida that featured AEW’s Brian Cage and Impact wrestlers Rich Swann and Moose. You probably weren’t there, but you can still see portions of the event on their You Tube Channel. You’re looking for CCW Alive Episodes 50 and 51.

The crowd was intense for the Moose v. Cha Cha Charlie match.

3. Reader Request
One of the new readers requested PPV Results in the newsletter. I used to put all results in the newsletter, but it made the issue large and cumbersome to read. I do however have results for most PPV’s and TV broadcasts on the Minutes To Bell Time website.

I’ll make a point of including a link in this newsletter for major PPV’s going forward. Here’s the link to the ALL Out Results from this past Sunday.

Finally – Best wishes to Triple H who is recovering from a cardiac event last week. As of now, all we know is that he’s expected to fully recover.

To everyone else, have a great weekend!
