December 27th Monday Night Raw

*RK-BRo to the ring…Riddle talking nonsense…Alpha Academy interrupts…Chad insults Riddle…their back & forth leads to another RKBro/Alpha 1-on-1 match, in addition to the already booked Randy vs. Otis match.

(1)  Riddle defeats Chad Gable…Riddle hits the Floating Bro for the win (04:00).

(2)  Randy Orton defeats Otis…after multiple failed attempts at the RKO, Randy avoids a Vader Bomb & finally delivers the RKO for the win (03:27)…AFTER…Riddle gives Randy his Christmas present…a hug…after which, Randy teases an RKO in return…they both laugh & hug again.

*Kevin Owens backstage with Kevin Patrick…they play a video message that Big E. sent from home, he hasn’t come this far to only come this far…he will leave Day 1 STILL your WWE Champion…Owens is not impressed with Big E. & also wants Mr. Patrick to pick a new name…Owens says he will leave Day 1 as WWE Champion…and Kevin Patrick’s new name is Burt.

*Veer Mahaan…STILL…coming to Raw.

(3)  Dana Brooke & Reggie defeatTamina & R-Truth…in a MIXED TAG match…Reggie jumps into a cazadora on Truth & flips under to wind up sitting on Truth’s chest for the unique roll up win (02:47)…AFTER…Tamina doesn’t take kindly to Truth’s trying share some words of wisdom & takes a swing, but misses…then Tamina takes offense to Reggie smirking at her & charges him, but misses again…Dana delivers a handspring back elbow to Tamina in the corner…everyone leaves the angry Tamina in the ring.

*Nikki ASH backstage with Megan…Nikki is OK with having been banned from ringside for Rhea’s match last week since Rhea won…Nikki challenges Zelina & Carmella to a tag title return match.

*Miz backstage playing the part of Groomzilla…Eric Bischoff will officiate Miz & Maryse’s vow renewal tonight.

(4)  RK-Bro-nament: Street Profits defeat Mysterios…Dawkins gets Dom up in an electric chair & Ford finishes the Doomsday Blockbuster for the win (12:10)…as a result, they’ll face RKBro for the tag titles at Day 1.

*AJ Styles in the ring…Omos still has to pay his dues…giants come & go, but there’s only one AJ Styles…AJ spots Grayson Waller in the crowd & invites him into the ring…Waller looks forward to Omos taking AJ out so Waller can take AJ’s spot…Apollo Crews (& Azeez) interrupt, he’s got a giant for AJ to fight…AJ accepts (although, during the commercial break apparently Apollo decides he wants AJ for himself).

*Carmella backstage with Megan…she accepts the match against Rhea & Nikki for the Women’s tag titles…then talks trash about Nikki.

(5)  AJ Styles defeats Apollo Crews…Styles Clash for the win (10:41)…AFTER…AJ bails before Azeez can attack…as Azeez tends to Apollo, AJ sets up for & delivers a Phenomenal Forearm to Azeez.

*Seth Rollins sends a video message from home as well…he’s OK with Kevin Owens taking most of the credit for their “team” last week…at Day 1, Seth will take what is rightfully his…the WWE Championship.

*Kevin Owens to the ring…he has put a perfect plan into action over the last few weeks & will leave Day 1 as WWE Champion…MVP interrupts, delivers a message from Bobby Lashley…someone will end up in the Hurt Lock because we are once again in the Age of the All Mighty…Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin out…Owens isn’t waiting for them to babble, invites Cedric to the ring for a fight…MVP thinks that’s a great idea.

(6)  Kevin Owens defeats Cedric Alexander…KO hits the Stunner for the win (03:17)…AFTER…Shelton Benjamin in, asks for a mic…KO hits a Stunner on Shelton before he can say a word.

*Liv Morgan/Becky Lynch video package…the rivalry in recap.

(7)  Dolph Ziggler defeats Damian Priest by DQ…therefore Priest retains his United States Championship…Ziggler slaps Priest & the temper tantrum that ensues includes Priest ignoring the ref’s order to let Ziggler out of the corner by a 5-count, leading to the DQ (10:23)…AFTER…Priest continues to beat on Ziggler & delivers the Reckoning on the floor.

*Miz & Maryse’s Vow Renewal Ceremony…Eric Bischoff presides over the ceremony…the crowd boos Maryse’s vows…Edge appears at “speak now or”…Edge teases a Beth run in, but he’s just joking…Edge leaves the ring as the Brood music plays…Miz & Maryse get a “Brood Bath” as they’re doused in black liquid.
