Castle Attack Results
Check back for February 28th Castle Attack Night 2 Results. The show begins at 2:00 AM.
Kojima, Tenzan defeat Cobb, Ospreay – 09:45
- Tenzan used a whole bunch of Mongolian Chops, but he lost the ability to use them when he lost a singles match to the Great-O-Khan. No explanation on why he’s now able to use the chops.
- Kojima hit Jeff Cobb with the lariat for the pinfall victory.
Yano, Ishii, Okada defat Owens, White, Evil – 08:36
- Okada got the submission victory using the Money Clip over Chase Owens.
G.O.D. defeats Yoshi-Hashi and Hirooki Goto – IWGP Tag Team Championships Retained – 15:45
- Tama Tonga hit the gun stun on Hirooki Goto for the pinfall victory.
Hiroshi Tanahashi defeats Great-O-Khan – NEVER Championship Retained – 18:44
- Great-O-Khan spent a lot of the match trying to corrupt Tsuji.
- When the referee went down, Khan asked Tsuji to give him a chair. Tsuji slid the chair to Tanahashi instead. This sequence ended with Hiroshi Tanahashi evaded the eliminator and hit a sling blade followed by Aces High. Tanahashi missed high fly flow, and the match continued.
- The Great-O-Khan went for the Eliminator and countered into a crucifix for a pinfall.
El Desperado defeats Bushi and ELP – Vacant IWGP Jr Championship – 23:09
- ELP hit Desperado with a Gotch Style Piledriver on the ramp and then pulled Desperado’s mask off.
- Several minutes later, Desperado returned to the match and viciously attacked ELP.
- ELP hit CR2 on El Desperdado, but Bushi stopped the referee from making the three count.
- Desperado hit 2 Pinche Locos on ELP for the pinfall victory.
- El Desperado wins the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship. He is a double champion because he also has the Tag Championship.
Kota Ibushi defeats Tetsuya Naito – IWGP Intercontinental Championship Retained – 27:50
- At the 27 minute mark, Ibushi hit Kame-Goye to the back the head, but he did not pin Naito.
- Naito evaded the front facing standard Kame-Goye once or twice, but eventually Ibushi hits it for the win.
Post Match
- El Desperado made his way to the ring. It is the historic tradition that the Junior Champion faces the Heavyweight Champion in a non-title match.
- Interesting that if they face each other, it will be double champion v. double champion.
- Desperado asked to have the match for both of Ibushi’s championships.
- Ibushi agrees to the match
