• It’s going to be a great year because WWE has given Miz back the Money in the Bank Briefcase.
• Miz and Morrison introduce The New Day as their special guests.
• The New Day says they have a new Talk Show called “New Day Talks”
• The New Day asks several questions. John Morrison answers, and Miz is disappointed.
• Teddy Long comes out. Long announces that Miz and Morrison will be facing THE UNDERTAKER. Adam Pearce let’s Teddy know that Taker is retired, so Teddy makes a Tag Team Match.

The New Day defeats Miz and Morrison – 12:24

• Xavier Woods hit Morrison with a shining wizard for the pinfall victory.

Backstage Interview with Randy Orton

• The voices were telling Randy to drop the match, and he couldn’t do it.
• Orton says that The Fiend changed him, and he was able to show Alexa compassion.
• After the altercation, he determined that he could do anything he wanted. Randy doesn’t want to talk about the Fiend. He’s going to go find some legends to remind them why he is the Legend Killer.

Angel Garza Shown Winning the 24/7 Championship on Tik Tok

Garza Interacts with The Legends

• Alicia Fox blows him off.
• Slaughter calls him a puke.
• Mickie James accepts Garza’s rose, and Slaughter calls Garza a Maggot.
• Tatanka was there, but he didn’t say anything.

Styles Announced for Royal Rumble

AJ Styles defeats Elias – 09:40

• AJ got the pinfall victory after hitting Elias with the Styles Clash.

Post Match

• Jaxson swung the guitar at AJ, but Olmos kicked the guitar and smashed it to pieces. Awesome spot.

Chalotte Flair Declares Herself for the Royal Rumble

Matt Riddle and The Big Show

• Riddle asks if he ever thought of using the name, “The Big Bro!”
• Randy Orton comes around to get in the Big Show’s face.
• The Big Show kind of blows him off, but Randy definitely pushed Show’s buttons.

Lacey and Peyton Promo

• They’re excited to face Charlotte and Asuka, who they call “the standard of excellence” in the women’s division.

Lacey and Peyton defeat Asuka and Charlotte – 12:31

• Lacey Evans made about 100 advances on RIC FLAIR.
• Ric hooked attempted to hook the ankle of Peyton Royce, but he grabbed Charlotte’s ankle instead. Peyton got a surprising roll up pin over Charlotte.
• Charlotte told Ric to stay out of her business … AGAIN.

Sheamus and Drew Talk Backstage

• Sheamus asks Drew to give Keith Lee an extra kick.
• Hogan and Jimmy Hart come by to wish Drew McIntyre good luck.
• Hulk Hogan says that Drew has been a great champion. Hogan says that Drew reminds him of himself.
• Drew asks Hogan if Sheamus reminds him of Jimmy Hart (mouth of the south).
• Jimmy chases Sheamus away with the megaphone. Hogan and Drew pose.

Riddle defeats Bobby Lashley – 09:07

• Riddle attacked Lashley before the bell, which gave him an early (but short) advantage.
• Bobby had Riddle in the Hurt Lock, and Riddle tapped out. The referee did not see the tap.
• Riddle rolled up Lashley for the pin.

Mark Henry Talks to Ricochet

• Henry coaches Ricochet to stick to his beliefs.
• Orton comes by to talk to Mark. Randy declares for the Rumble and asks Mark if he has declared for the Rumble too.
• Mark is using a scooter due to some sort of injury. Orton says he owes Mark a lot of receipts, but figures he’ll give Mark a pass if he peddles himself away now.

MVP and Lashley Backstage

• MVP says there was no controversy.
• Lashley has some nasty words for Riddle.

Mandy Rose Comes to the Ring

• Baszler attacks Mandy during the entrance.
• Brooke comes out to stand up for Mandy, and she takes the match instead.

Dana Brooke defeats Shayna Baszler – 00:40

• Shayna locked in the Kirifuda Clutch, but Dana reversed her into a pin for the win.

Post Match

• Shayna did not release the Kirifuda clutch until Mandy Rose made the save.

Flair Talks with IRS and Molly Holly Until Orton Comes Around

• Orton invites Flair to come to the ring with him, but Flair says he’ll never do it again.

Keith Lee and Matt Riddle in the Back

• Riddle says New Year New Champ

Randy Orton defeats Jeff Hardy – 14:12

• Randy uses an RKO to get the pinfall victory.

Melina with Lucha House Party

• They do the “Lucha” dance

Lucha House Party Promo

• They plan to show the legends what Lucha Lit is all about.

Lucha House Party defeats Hurt Business – 02:53

• Cedric and Shelton could not get on the same page. Lince rolled up Shelton for the pin.

Angel Garza Tries to Give Torrie Wilson a Rose

• Torrie said she was in the middle of a conversation with Nikki Cross. She sends Garza into a room to talk with Cardi B.
• It ended up being the Boogie Man. R-Truth surprised Garza with a roll up for the win.
• Ron Simmons said “Damn”

Drew McIntyre defeats Keith Lee – 20:30

• Keith Lee hit the top rope Spanish fly in this match, but it looked like he landed on his head.
• McIntyre used the Claymore for the pinfall victory.

Post Match

• Goldberg came out. Goldberg says that McIntyre doesn’t have respect.
• Bill seems to think that he’s stepping in to get the respect back. Goldberg challenged McIntyre to a match at the Royal Rumble.
• Drew says that fighting Goldberg would be like fighting his dad.
• Bill shoved Drew.
