                    William Regal Introduces Keith Lee to Talk to the NXT Universe

                    • Lee thanks his trainer and talks about how opportunity struck he became both champions.
                    • While limitless, he will not be a limiting factor. He’s relinquishing the North American Championship to make sure that others have an opportunity. He wants to make sure that as many people as possible get an opportunity.
                    • Regal loves the idea and announces that there will be three triple threat matches with the winners facing each other at NXT TakeOver.
                    • TOnight’s match is Roderick Strong vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Bronson Reed

                    Dexter Lumis defeats Killian Dain – 10:41

                    • Dexter Lumis used his choke to get the victory by referee stoppage.

                    Backstage Interview with Roderick Strong

                    • This opportunity means that the Undisputed Era is getting back on track.
                    • Bronson Reed says he’ll be showing people that he’s a player here.
                    • Gargano says welcome to my world. This ends with me becoming champion again.

                    • She’ll be ready for Io and the NXT championship.

                    Breezango defeats Ever Rise – 03:31

                    • Breezango comes out to the Mountie’s music and dressed as The Mountie.
                    • After double super kicks, Breezango gets the pinfall victory.

                    Backstage Interview with Dijakovic

                    • He’s fresh this week.

                    Shotzi Blackheart defeats Aliyah – 04:40

                    • After a diving senton, Blackheart picks up the pinfall victory.

                    Post Match

                    • Shotzi ran over Stone’s other leg. Mercedes Martinez ran out and kicked Blackheart in the face. Not sure if this means Martinez is aligned with the Robert Stone Brand. It didn’t look like it.

                    Bronson Reed defeats Gargano and Strong – 21:50

                    • Gargano hit the one final beat DDT and Reed did a big splash of the top onto Strong. He got some additional contact with Gargano. Reed pinned Strong for the win.
                    • Reed advances to the Ladder Match at TakeOver.

                    Timothy Thatcher defeats Oney Lorcan – 13:07

                    • Lorcan had a hold on Thatcher’s arm, but Thatcher maneuvered Lorcan’s shoulders to the mat. Thatcher got the pin.

                    Robert Stone Backstage

                    • He doesn’t want to talk. Mercedes comes by, and she says that she wants someone to handle all of the stuff outside the ring so she can concentrate on all the stuff inside the ring.
                    • They agree.

                    Finn Balor Video Package

                    • He’s going to take advantage of Keith Lee’s unwillingness to defend the championship. He apologizes to Thatcher and Lumis because next week, their opportunity hits the ceiling.

                    • Finn Balor vs. Dexter Lumis vs. Timothy Thatcher – Winner Advances to Ladder Match

                    Karrion Kross defeats Dominik Dijakovic – 13:31

                    • Karrion Kross wedged Dijakovic between the steps and the post. He then wound up and kicked the steps. Kross hoisted Dijakovic back into the ring and started elbowing and striking Dijakovic in the face.
                    • Keith Lee came down, but Dijakovic stopped him from getting in the ring. Kross continued the beating.
                    • Kross put Dijakovic in a rear naked choke for the referee stoppage.
                    • Lee and Kross stared at each other to close out the show.

                     

                    NXT Preview

                    Major Announcement from William Regal

                    Wrestling fans are speculating that Regal will force Keith Lee to vacate the North American Championship and announce a tournament. They’re also speculating that he’s just going to announce TakeOver. We’ll have to see.
