June 5th Body Slam Brigade
The June 5th Body Slam Brigade letter came out this morning. It features a ton of stuff including my NXT TakeOver predictions.
You can read and subscribe at this link.
I love writing this letter each week. It’s an easy way to recap the week and provide value to wrestling fans. Since I collect stats on pro wrestling matches, I always share interesting things that catch my eye.
It’s an opportunity for me to share my fandom with readers.
It isn’t a one way street though. The idea is to celebrate our combined fandom.
In that spirit, I launched a private Facebook Group for subscribers.
You can find out more about my letter and everything else here. Jone this fast growing group ASAP.
Here’s an Excerpt From This Week’s Letter
I went to an NXT Live event about four years ago.
Sasha Banks was already on the main roster, but a girl in the front row was the spitting image of the Boss . . . just about 20 years younger.
The five year old girl was completely decked out and dressed just like Sasha. It was awesome.
Chances are if you’ve been to a WWE live event any time in the last four years, you’ve probably seen the same thing. Sasha is incredibly “over.” Especially with young girls.
Despite that, she really hasn’t been on the winning end of things in 2020.
Banks has a losing record in both singles (1-3) and tag team competition (2-3), but I do think better things are on the horizon for Sasha.
