March 4th Episode of NXT Results
Dakota Kai defeats Tegan Nox in a Steel Cage Match
Nox and Kai exchanged fists until Nox hit a diving cross body from the second rope. With Dakota Kai in the corner, Nox hit a series of European four uppercuts in the corner. Kai put her feet up when Nox went for the cannon-boar and sent Nox into he side of the cage as NXT went to commercial. Back from commercial, Nox tossed Kai into three of the four sides of the cage. Tegan Nox then hit a fall away slam with a bridge for a two count.
Nox had her eye on the cage, but Kai stopped her and hit the Kai-ropractor for a near fall. Back on their feet, Nox swung with a head butt that sent both women to the mat. Kai chased Nox up the cage, and Nox choke-slammed her off the ropes. When Tegan turned to climb out, Kai snatched her off the cage and resumed the advantage for a few moments. They followed each other into the corners hitting kicks and cannonballs.
Attempting to escape, Gonzales stood on the outside, so Nox turned and hit a high cross body from the top of the cage. As Nox attempted to leave through the door, Gonzales held the door shut. When Kai tried to kick Nox, Tegan moved and Kai hit the door into the face of Gonzales. After the shiniest wizard, Kai somehow kicked out.
The ending sequence came when Gonzales pinched Nox between the door and the cage allowing Kai to escape.
Finn Balor Interview
Finn says he always makes the first move, but Walter forced his hand. Balor thanked him and said “See ya. Sooner than you think.”
Footage of Rhea Ripley Seeing Raymond James Stadium
Rhea says that she started wrestling in front of 50 or 100 people. Rhea says she has been compared to Charlotte from the moment she walked into WWE. She goes on to say “To be the best, you’ve got to beat the best.”
Chelsea Green defeats Shotzi Blackheart
This match is a tournament match to determine who will advance to compete in a ladder match at NXT Takeover Tampa. The winner of the ladder match becomes the number one contender for the NXT Championship. Blackheart used a single leg take down, an arm drag, and an enziguri to take a quick advantage. Green evaded a dropkick and hit a backstabber for a near fall. Green hit a pump kick for a two count. Chelsea climbed to the top rope and hit a missile dropkick. After the “I’m Prettier,” Green secured the pinfall victory.
Keith Lee Interview
He acknowledges that Dijakovic and Priest both want opportunities. Cameron Grimes came to the ring with a microphone. Grimes says “You don’t need to be talking about Dijakovic and Priest. You need to be talking about Cameron Grimes.” The crowd got all over Grimes. Lee had amazing control over the crowd as they would stop to listen to him speak, but the jeered Grimes out of the building. Sick and tired of listening to Grimes talk, Lee shoved him out of the ring and said you can have a match next week.
Austin Theory Interview
He says I’m only 23 years old, and I’m already the greatest in NXT history. Swerve Scott took exception and challenged him to a match.
Undisputed Era Shown Preparing Backstage
Fish and O’Reilly defeat Burch and Lorcan
Fish and Lorcan started trading chops and forearms. Burch and Lorcan cleared the ring, but Lorcan dove off the stairs to hit a blockbuster on both Fish and O’Reilly. NXT went to commercial. Back from commercial, Bobby Fish was swinging at Lorcan. Oney got his knees up when Fish went for a senton. O’Reilly came in trying to prevent Lorcan from getting the tag, but he could not print it. Burch came in the ring and hit O’Reilly with a cutter.
With Bobby Fish as the legal man, the Undisputed Era started teeing off in the corner. Kyle O’Reilly hit a number of slaps and kick strikes and Fish continued the effort. Kyle O’Reilly used a side suplex to prevent Burch from getting the tag, but Burch eventually got the tag to Lorcan.
Oney hit a half and half suplex, a running block buster, and a dive to secure the advantage. As Lorcan ran from corner to corner, Burch and Fish ran out and hit their finisher for the pinfall victory.
Post Match Interview
Fish and O’Reilly say that they’re back on their winning ways, but they miss the Tag Team Championships. Riddle says that he and Pete are ok with it. Drake and Gibson attacked Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle from behind. Gibson picked up the microphone, and he says “Its out with the old and in with the Grizzled Young Veterans.”
Austin Theory defeats Isaiah Swerve Scott
Swerve used a head scissors takeover and a drop kick to get an early advantage. He followed that up with a jumping back kick to the jaw of Theory sending NXT to commercial. Back from the break, Theory used a dropkick to slow Scott down. The match turned into a slugfest that Swerve won, and he followed it up with a flying uppercut to the back of Theory’s head. After a flatliner, Swerve got a near fall. Theory blocked a hurricanrana hitting a buckle bomb and a fisherman buster across the knee.
When Theory went for rolling thunder, Scott grabbed Theory’s arm and wrenched it into an arm bar. Theory raked Scott’s eyes and hit an ATL for the pinfall victory.
Mauro Ranallo Sit Down Interview with Johnny Gargano
The interview didn’t make much sense. Gargano went off on Ranallo scolding him for using the phrase “Johnny Turncoat.” He says next week, we do things the Johnny Gargano way.

Roderick Strong defeats Velveteen Dream
As soon as Strong entered the ring, he ran at Velveteen Dream. Dream crashed into the side of the cage, and the two men exchanged fists until Dream back body dropped Strong into the cage. All of a sudden, Marina Shafir passed a kendo stick through the cage right in front of Strong as NXT went to commercial.
Back from the break, Velveteen Dream locked in a Boston Crab, but Roderick Strong reversed it. After Dream gout of the Boston Crab, he dropkicked and super kicked Strong into the side of the cage. Strong finally got the kendo stick, and he hit a pump handle slam using the stick. As Strong climbed the ring ropes to get out of the cage, Dream pulled Roderick’s pants down. When Dream climbed up next to him, Strong hit an Olympic Slam from the top rope.
Both men clamored for the door, but they stopped each other. Velveteen Dream hit the Dream Valley Driver twice and then he climbed to the top of the cage. Dream jumped off the cage to grab the kendo stick. Dream fought off O’Reilly and Adam Cole.
For some reason, Dream pushed Strong out of the cage and then locked the Undisputed Era out. That left Adam Cole and Dream in the cage. Velveteen Dream hit the Dream Valley Driver on Adam Cole and held the NXT Championship up before hitting Cole over the head with it.
