*Kenny Omega’s music plays & Don Callis makes his way to the ring for an interview with Tony…says Kenny’s not here, but it will be a good night for the Elite…the Bucks will win back the tag titles & Adam Cole will be a wonderful transitional champion until Kenny is ready to return.
(Buy-In 2) Hook defeats QT Marshall…Hook locks in redruM for the win (04:57).
(Buy-In 3) House of Black defeat Pac, Penta Oscuro, & Erick Redbeard…Malakai sprays the mist in the face of Redbeard…Matthews hits a jumping knee on Redbeard…King scoops Redbeard up for Greetings From Asbury Park & Malakai covers for the win (17:22).
(4) Eddie Kingston defeats Chris Jericho…Jericho removes a turnbuckle pad…Jericho misses the Judas Effect, instead making contact with the exposed turnbuckle ring…Kingston counters with 2 spinning Back Fists & locks in the Stretch Plum…he wrenches on it several times to finally get the tap & a submission win (14:18)…AFTER…Eddie offers his hand but Jericho refuses to show the respect he promised.
(5) Jurassic Express defeat Young Bucks & reDRagon…in a THREE-WAY TAG match to retain their AEW Tag Team Championship…Thoracic Express on Matt Jackson, Jungle Boy covers for the win (18:55).
(6) Wardlow defeats Keith Lee, Powerhouse Hobbs, Ricky Starks, Orange Cassidy, & Christian Cage…in the FACE OF THE REVOLUTION Ladder Match…Wardlow Powerbombs Starks from the top of an 8 foot ladder onto a ladder bridged to the middle rope, then finishes his climb & retrieves the brass ring for the win (17:25).
*Swerve Strickland joins Tony on the stage to sign his AEW contract…Swerve has a question for the crowd that they’re all too happy to answer: Whose house? Swerve’s house!
(7) Jade Cargill defeats Tay Conti…retains her TBS Championship…after Jade pump kicks Anna Jay at ringside, Anna Jay hits Jade with a chair behind the ref’s back & Conti rolls Jade up but only gets 2…Conti climbs for a moonsault but Jade kicks out a leg, sending Conti into the robo-camera…Jade pulls her down & right into Jaded for the win (06:54).
*CM Punk’s music plays but transitions to MJF’s…because MJF loves screwing with the fans…not to be outdone, CM Punk enters to “Miseria Cantare” in his old XXX black & white ROH ring gear.
(8) CM Punk defeats MJF…in a DOG COLLAR Match…at the 24 minute mark MJF calls for Wardlow, who comes to ringside but “can’t find” the Dynamite Diamond Ring…Punk hits the GTS & Max falls into a puddle of thumbtacks…suddenly Wardlow finds the ring & places it on the edge of the apron, smiling as he makes eye contact with Punk…Punk grabs the ring & delivers a loaded right hand to MJF & covers for the win (26:33).
(9) Britt Baker defeats Thunder Rosa…retains her AEW Women’s World Championship…Rosa hits a Tombstone but Rebel gets the ref’s attention as the crowd counts to 7…Rebel distracts again as Jamie Hayter slides in the belt for Britt to Curb Stomp Rosa onto & get a 2 count…Rosa grabs a straightjacket submission but again Rebel gets the ref’s attention as Britt is tapping…frustrated Rosa hits a suicide dive spear to take out Rebel & follows by taking Hayter’s head off with a clothesline at ringside…Britt catches Rosa sliding back in & hits another Curb Stomp for the win (17:20).
(10) Jon Moxley defeats Bryan Danielson…Danielson has Moxley in the Triangle Sleeper…Mox flips over into a pinning combo…Danielson refuses to release the hold & his shoulders are down for a 3-count & a win for Moxley (21:05)…AFTER…a frustrated Danielson has a shoving match with the ref…then Danielson & Moxley go at each other again…a team of Security can’t keep them apart, but a slap across the face from William Regal for each of them is enough to bring them to their senses & gets them to uphold the Code of Honor & end their night with a handshake.
*Tony Schiavone announces a Women’s World Championship Eliminator for this week on Dynamite in addition to a Women’s World Championship & a TNT Championship match at St. Patrick’s Day Slam on the March 16th Dynamite in San Antonio, TX. (see details below)
(11) Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, & Sting defeat Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy, & Andrade…in a TORNADO TRIOS Match…after absolute insanity takes place on the stage & in the crowd on both sides of the arena, Matt Hardy & Darby wind up alone in the ring…Matt hangs a chair around Darby’s neck & tries for a Twist of Hate…Darby reverses out & hits a Scorpion Death Drop onto the open chair, exploding it underneath Hardy…Darby follows with a Coffin Drop (that he almost completely missed) for the win (13:24).
(12) Hangman Adam Page defeats Adam Cole…to retain his AEW World Championship…reDRagon to ringside, set up a table for Cole on the floor but Hangman hits Dead Eye from the apron, through the table…Dark Order out to run off reDRagon…Hangman hits Buckshot Lariat but Cole gets his hand on the ropes…Hangman hits a Superkick, Boom knee strike, & follows with another Buckshot Lariat…flips into a jackknife cover for the win (25:45)…AFTER…Hangman kneels next to the “unconscious” Cole & picks up his limp arm to shake his hand…ending the night by upholding the Code of Honor.
