Dark Elevation Preview

AEW has announced 13 matches for tonights show.

Ryan’s Take

• Danny Limelight seems to be this week’s featured project. He has a short spotlight segment with Paul Wight and a big match against Jon Moxley. It wouldn’t make sense for Mox to squash Limelight on the same episode as his Elevation Spotlight, so I expect Moxley will work with Limelight in an attempt for Danny to show the best of his arsenal before ultimately getting beat by Mox. Having said that, Moxley has a big Dynamite match against Yuji Nagata this week, so a lot of the commentary may revolve around building for that match.
• It’s curious to me that both members of Private Party are on this week’s episode of Elevation, but they’re in different matches. I think that means Reynolds beats Kassidy. Otherwise why not make the match Reynolds v. Matt Hardy and put Private Party together in the tag match.
• I like Tay Conti v. Madi Wrenkowski. While Madi hasn’t won much, it feels like AEW is keeping her in the rotation.
• Jurassic Express v. Chaos Project should be fun.
