NXT Preview

AEW has announced 4 matches for tonights show.

Ryan’s Take

  • We’re closing in on AEW’s big Double or Nothing Pay Per View. Tonight’s show will determine the challenger for Kenny Omega’s AEW World Championship. We know Pac v. Omega won’t disappoint, but I’m sure Orange v. Omega would be fun in an entirely different way.
  • Everyone I talk to thinks that Darby Allin’s TNT Championship run is over when he meets Miro tonight. I guess we’ll see what happens when “the man who doesn’t mind dying meets the man who doesn’t mind killing him.”
  • Cody’s revealing his Double or Nothing plans hopefully has something to do with The Factor v. Nightmare Family feud. They could create a whole new 5 on 5 style match. New Japan does multi-person elimination matches where people can be eliminated by pinfall, submission, or being thrown over the top rope. If AEW thinks outside the box, they could do something like that. Losing a match by getting tossed over the top hurts nobody.
