• Taiji Ishimori and El Phantasmo captured the IWGP Junior Tag Team Championships on 6/23 with a win over former champions Sho and Yoh.
• New Japan Announced a Los Angeles-based PPV called Resurgence that will take place on August 14th. The show will broadcast live on New Japan World with Japanese commentary and for purchase on FITE TV with English Commentary. Tickets for Resurgence will go on sale on June 30th.
• New Japan will also welcome fans to watch New Japan Strong Live on August 16th at Thunder Studios in Los Angeles.
• New Japan announced a Tag Team Turbulence tournament for New Japan Strong. The tournament features the following teams:

  • Clark Connors and TJP
  • Yuji Nagata and Ren Narita
  • Fred Yehi and Wheeler Yuta
  • Kevin Knight and The DKC
