November 2nd NXT 2.0

Live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

*Mandy Rose to the ring…the fans are split between “You de-serve it” & “No you don’t” chants…where are Gigi & Jacy?…they’re spotted on the ‘tron, backstage taking out Zoey Stark…Mandy says there’s no one in NXT that can stop Toxic Attraction…Io Shirai to the ring, says she wants Mandy right now…Mandy calls for a ref, but that’s just a distraction to attack Shirai…when Shirai gets the upper hand Gigi & Jacy save Mandy…Kacy & Kayden even things up & eventually hold the ring with Shirai.

*Toxic Attraction bump into Dakota Kai backstage…Kai makes it clear she didn’t do it to help Mandy, she did it to end Raquel.

*Cameron Grimes visits Duke’s Poker Room…he doesn’t seem to know how to play Texas Hold ‘Em…

(1)  Dakota Kai defeats Cora Jade…Corner Kick for the win (02:25)…AFTER…Dakota attacks Jade, drags her by her hair to the ramp side of the outside of the ring & lays a table on her upper body…Dakota climbs back to the apron & looks ready to jump onto the table to crush Jade…thankfully Dakota decides against it & heads up the ramp, seemingly disturbed by her own potential brutality.

*Robert Stone challenges Xyon Quinn to face him tonight via social media after their disagreement during last week’s costume party.

*MSK are bummed about losing their tag titles…they’re seeking wisdom from the man who came up with the legend of MSK.

*Robert Stone & Xyon Quinn in the ring…Stone says Xyon (like everyone else) is jealous of him, so he sings & dances to Franky Monet’s theme song in a romper to show just how talented he is…sometimes a segment is so bad that it comes full circle & actually winds up being good…this is not one of those times…Xyon informs Stone he’s only here to kick his ass, but rethinks his stance & calls for some music…he performs a few lines from HBK’s “Sexy Boy” while Stone is doing something between choreographed dancing & almost fighting with him, but after they nail the Dirty Dancing lift, Stone makes things real by slapping Xyon…Xyon calls for the bell…

(2)  Xyon Quinn defeats Robert Stone…Jackhammer for the win (00:50).

*Joe Gacy promo…social media is full of negativity…the world should be inclusive…Gacy & Harland will change the world together.

*Elektra Lopez (with Wilde & Mendoza) bump into Xyon Quinn backstage…Lopez apparently likes what she saw.

(3)  Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza defeat Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner…miscommunication between O’Reilly & Wagner leads to Wilde rolling Wagner up for the win (11:28).

*Carmelo & Trick… backstage with McKenzie…Andre Chase interrupts, he’s got their backs since they had his back in the haunted house…McKenzie asks Chase about the social media buzz regarding him looking like a coward…Chase throws another tantrum & heads to the ring.

*Cameron Grimes is having a run of beginner’s luck in Duke’s Poker Room…

*Andre Chase would normally be furious with being called a coward, but he’s decided to make it a teachable moment…calls for anyone from the locker room…Bron Breakker answers.

(4)  Bron Breakker defeats Andre Chase…Gorilla Press Powerslam for the win (01:42)…AFTER…Breakker on the mic…admits that Ciampa is the man in NXT, but their rivalry is not done…he will beat Ciampa for that title or die trying.

*Imperium backstage with McKenzie…Gigi & Jacy interrupt…they invite Imperium to watch their 6-Woman tag match next week…Imperium seem intrigued.

*Lashing Out…Lash pokes fun of Von Wagner…for some reason she loves Ikemen Jiro…today’s guest is Tony D’Angelo…producer Mark joins him, arm in a sling…Tony not-so-subtly intimidates him into saying he’s fine…Tony says he sometimes feels like smacking guys around…mentions the likes of Dexter Lumis, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne, & Tommaso Ciampa.

(5)  Solo Sikoa defeats Jeet Rama…Uso Splash for the win (01:31).

*Briggs & Jensen dueling promos…they’re rough & tough.

(6)  Boa defeats Grayson Waller…LA Knight joins commentary, eventually supplies the distraction that allows Boa to set Waller up for a Roundhouse Kick for the win (02:30).

*Cameron Grimes is the last man at the table with Duke Hudson…Hudson pulls him all in with pocket Aces, but Grimes’ pair of deuces flop a set & hit a full house on the river to wipe Hudson out…Hudson flips the table in disgust.

*Kay Lee Ray promo…next week she starts to rage!

*Boa returns to his dressing room to find Mei Ying’s throne empty…he kneels before it momentarily, rises, & turns around to reveal his face painted white with “the mark” across it…he blows smoke at the camera.

*Tommaso Ciampa to the ring…Halloween Havoc was a changing of the guard…Carmelo Hayes (& Trick) interrupts…tells Ciampa he’s the A-Champion & Ciampa will take a back seat to him…Trick starts running his mouth & eats a left hand from Ciampa…as Ciampa heads up the ramp, he & Gargano have a moment.

(7)  Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams defeat Johnny Gargano & Dexter Lumis…Lumis locks in Silence on Hayes but the ref misses Trick nailing Lumis in the head with his shoe…Hayes hits the top buckle Sicilian Slice for the win (12:48).
