      • The 8/28 show from St. Louis will be called NWA in Power. This will be an All Women’s Show produced by Mickie James.
      • The 8/29 show from St. Louis will be called NWA 73. The event will take place at the Chase Ballroom, which is a historic wrestling venue where former NWA President Sam Muchnick promoted from between 1959 to 1983
      • The 8/30 and 8/31 events will be NWA Powerrr tapings.

Other General News

  • Braun Strowman took to Twitter over the weekend to deny allegations from PW Insider and others that he’s been asking independent promoters for five figures. PW Insider then wrote that multiple promotions have reached out to say that when they inquired about working with Strowman, his demands were 20-25K for a three hour appearance, first class airfare, two nights of hotel, plus all meals and ground transportation.
  • The first half of season 3 Dark Side of the Ring concluded with the Dynamite Kid Episode last week. Coming up next season: Johnny K9, The Steroid Trials, Chris Kanyon, FMW, XPW, Luna Vachon, The Plane Ride from Hell.
  • Bill Eadie and Antonio Inoki are both struggling with health issues. Best wishes. 
    • Inoki – Emergency Surgery Intestine issues – 78
    • Eadie – Heart related issues
  • Don West has brain lymphoma and will be undergoing chemo therapy. He hopes to make a recovery. West is known for his roles as an announcer on WCW and TNA.
  • ACH said on twitter, “No need for the dramatic or emotional word play. As of today I will officially step away from professional wrestling. Thank you all for the support and love.”
