October 19th NXT 2.0

*Carmelo & Trick to the ring…the North American title is now the A-title & he doesn’t care if Ciampa or management don’t like him saying it…Johnny Gargano interrupts, it’s time to get back in the ring…Johnny challenges Melo to “take a shot” at him…Trick makes an insinuation that Johnny’s “daughter” Indi has been in Melo’s DMs…Dexter Lumis pops up behind them & attempts to Silence Trick’s big mouth…Trick & Carmelo bail but leave the title behind.

(1)  Odyssey Jones defeats Andre Chase…Jones hits the ropes & delivers a mat-level big splash for the win (02:56).

(2)  Imperium defeat Creed Brothers…Kushida & Jiro make their way to ringside causing Strong, Hachiman, & Brutus to attack immediately…Julius is distracted in the ring & Barthel rolls him up for the win (05:36)…AFTER…MSK attack Imperium & after they clear Imperium from the ring MSK challenges them to a title match at Halloween Havoc.

*Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner get together for some Redneck/Nature Crossfit, share a beer, & agree that if they can get on the same page they can be a formidable team.

*Joe Gacy promo…last week was a setback for “us”…but together we can be stronger…Gacy offers his hand & we find that Harland is sitting across from him…they touch hands, prison visit style.

*Legado del Fantasma in the ring…Santos says Carmelo was a lucky son of a bitch last week, but that he & Lady Luck will find Carmelo eventually…Santos turns the mic over to Elektra Lopez, but Cora Jade’s music interrupts…

(3)  Cora Jade defeats Elektra Lopez…Lopez hits Jade with a lariat but when she bends over to pick her up, Jade rolls her into a small package for the win (01:51).

*Grayson Waller wants to host Halloween Havoc…but LA Knight knows that he’s the megastar host we need…winner of their match tonight will earn the hosting honors.

(4)  Io Shirai defeats Jacy Jayne & Persia Pirotta…Jacy botches a suicide dive & is helped to the back by medical…Over the Moonsault for the win (11:25)…AFTER…Io spins the wheel & we’ll have a “Scareway to Hell” Ladder Match at Halloween Havoc!

*Legado backstage beating the hell out of Trey Baxter as Cora Jade watches helplessly & is teased by Elektra…Jensen & Briggs come to Baxter’s aid shortly before refs swarm to settle down the madness.

*Solo Sikoa vignette…the street champion arrives next week.

*Ikemen Jiro crosses paths with Kushida in the men’s room…Kushida says he needs “Style Strong” like Jiro…Jiro disagrees, tells him to go “Back to the Future” & helps him put on his Marty McFly vest.

(5)  Tony D’Angelo defeats Ru Feng…Spinning Fisherman’s Neckbreaker for the win (01:45)…AFTER…Samantha Irvin interviews Tony in the ring…she asks about the disappearance of “Mark” (the producer of Lashing Out)…Tony feigns ignorance (seemingly not a stretch)…he hands her some cash & tells her to fuggedaboutit!

*Duke’s Poker Room…might as well start calling him “The House”…because the house always wins.

(6)  Wilde & Mendoza defeat Briggs & Jensen…Wilde hits Briggs with a chair as he tends to  Jensen (who is down from an apparent attack) backstage before their entrances…Legados hit their Leg Sweeo/High Kick doubleteam finisher on Jensen, Mendoza covers for the win (05:21).

*Raquel & Mandy dueling hype package.

*Halloween Havoc graveyard mystery vignette…“reflection leads to reincarnation.”

*Carmelo & Trick in the locker room searching for the North American title…they find an invitation to Dexter Lumis’ Halloween Havoc “Open House”…Trick isn’t pleased, he doesn’t like haunted houses.

(7)  LA Knight defeats Grayson Waller…Blunt Force Trauma for the win (01:20)…as a result, LA Knight will be the host of Halloween Havoc next week.

(8)  Tommaso Ciampa & Bron Breakker defeat Grizzled Young Veterans…Ciampa & Breakker not getting along from the start…later, a frustrated Ciampa tags himself in with a big slap across Breakker’s face…eventually, Breakker hits his Gorilla Press into a Powerslam on Drake for the win (11:02)…AFTER…Ciampa & Breakker continue barking at each other as the show ends.
