October 1st Smackdown

*Postman Pearce & Sonya will be handling the draft this year…let Round 1 commence:

*All draftees will remain on their current brand until after Crown Jewel on October 21.

*Charlotte backstage with Kayla….basking in being the 1^st woman drafted…long live the Queen!*Roman Reigns to the ring…asks Baltimore to acknowledge him…Heyman buries the crowd full of “Baltimorons”…reminds us that the Demon is no longer undefeated…and next up for the Tribal Chief is Crown Jewel & Brock Lesnar…Brock Lesnar to the ring…they have some words off mic & Roman throws the first punch…Brock takes a half dozen of them before hitting back-to-back German Suplexes…Roman rolls out, the Usos in, they take Roman’s place on the Suplex City Express…when Roman refuses Brock’s invite back into the ring, each Usos get their own F-5 as well.

(1)  Happy Corbin defeats Kevin Owens…Corbin accompanied to the ring by his new associate Madcap (Riddick) Moss…Corbin hits the End of Days on the floor…back inside, another End of Days for the win (07:26).

*King of the Ring & “Queen’s Crown” Tournaments begin next Friday on the Season Premiere of SmackDown & continue on Raw!

*DRAFT Round 2…(see results above)

*Drew McIntyre backstage with Kayla…has unfinished business from long ago on SmackDown…and he’s looking to lift the dark cloud that has hung over SmackDown in the form of the current Universal Champion.

*Edge to the ring…SmackDown has always felt like home but now he’s been drafted to Raw, which is just fine with him because it’s a new list of challengers…he’s not 100% yet but he welcomes Seth to come to the ring & try to extract the words from him that Seth demanded last week…Seth Rollins appears on the ‘tron…Seth didn’t believe Edge would actually show up, so Seth went to his home, as promised…Edge races backstage…Seth finds the front door open & lets himself in.

(2)  Carmella vs. Liv Morgan ends in a NO CONTEST…Liv attacks before the bell…Carmella rolls out, calls Liv a “Bitch” & says that’s the last chance she’ll get to injure her face…Carmella has assistants at ringside place a mask on her…rolls back in, attacks Liv (still no bell)…Carmella hits her X-Factor finisher & celebrates over the fallen Liv.

(3)  New Day & Street Profits defeat Dirty Dawgs & Alpha Academy…Kofi & Woods hit the Demolition Coup de Grace on Roode, Woods covers for the win (10:11).

*Jeff Hardy backstage with Kayla…Brock Lesnar interrupts to announce that “thanks to my good friend Paul Heyman” he is a free agent & can do whatever he wants.

*Roman & the Bloodline in the locker room…Roman is not pleased with Brock’s words regarding Heyman…Roman gives Heyman his marching orders to go to Raw & MAKE SURE that the Usos stay on SmackDown…Heyman scurries off…Roman tells the Usos to go with Paul to Raw & if he can’t secure their spots on the SmackDown roster, the Usos are to “leave him for dead at Raw.”

*Becky Lynch will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship at Crown Jewel against both Bianca Belair & Sasha Banks.

(4)  Sasha Banks defeats Bianca Belair…Becky Lynch joins the commentary table…Becky has words with Bianca when the match spills outside in front of her…as Bianca climbs back in, Becky holds Bianca’s braid allowing Sasha to roll Bianca up & flip into a jackknife cover for the win (13:24)…AFTER…Charlotte Flair appears out of nowhere to deliver a big boot to the face of both Sasha & Bianca…the show ends with Charlotte holding the Raw title over her head in the ring & Becky holding the SmackDown title over her head while standing on the commentary desk.
