October 27th AEW Dynamite

(1)  CM Punk defeats Bobby Fish…a limping Punk hits the Go To Sleep onto his injured knee for the win (12:58).

*Malakai Black promo…takes pride in making the crowd turn on Cody…but it wasn’t about pinfalls…“The House always wins.”

(2)  MJF defeats Bryce Donovan…Heat Seeker for the win (00:35)…

AFTER…MJF on the mic, lots of cheap heat about Boston…pivots to Darby Allin who he claims is too scared to show up for work…now that Darby is out of his hair, his destiny awaits…after Full Gear he wants the champ, regardless of who that might be…Sting’s music starts…but it was just MJF messing with the crowd…LIGHTS OUT, LIGHTS ON…Sting attacks Spears & Wardlow with the bat…MJF bails to ringside but Darby is in the front row…MJF sprints up the ramp…Darby grabs his tack-loaded skateboard from under the ring & goes to work on Wardlow…Darby grabs a mic, “Max…Full Gear!”

*Britt Baker backstage with Tony…Trick or Treat (no DQ) match coming with Abadon this Friday…if Abadon wins, she gets a world title shot.

(3)  Sammy Guevara defeats Ethan Page…to retain his TNT Championship…Sammy ‘ranas out of an Avalanche Ego’s Edge attempt, then misses a standing Shooting Star…when Page goes for another gut-wrench lift, Sammy hits a double leg & flips into a Jackknife cover for the win (10:58)…

AFTER…Page attacks from behind…Sammy gets the upper hand until Scorpio Sky races down to help…the Inner Circle down en masse & the Men of the Year bail & retreat…Jericho on the mic, says the 5-on-5 match at Full Gear will be a Minneapolis Street Fight…the Inner Circle will decide which members of American Top Team will be part of that match & announce it next week.

*Eddie Kingston & Bryan Danielson backstage with Tony…Eddie still pissed about Danielson saying he doesn’t work hard last week, walks off…Danielson says Eddie & Mox are the two TOUGHEST wrestlers he’s ever met…but he’s going to go out & prove he’s the BEST.

*Lucha Brothers backstage with Tony…FTR says they’re the best, so the Lucha Brothers will put the titles on the line & give them a shot to prove it.

(4)  TBS Tournament: Hikaru Shida defeats Serena Deeb…Shida avoids the Detox with a backdrop but Deeb rolls her up from underneath…Shida immediately reverses the roll up for the win (11:00)…as a result, Shida gets her 50^th win & faces Nyla Rose in round 2…AFTER…Serena chopblocks Shida, then retrieves a chair & nails Shida multiple times on the injured leg…Deeb follows up with the Serenity Lock & it takes multiple refs & agents to get her to release it.

*Lio Rush & Dante Martin backstage with Tony…Mike Sydal is injured, so the tag match is off & Dante will face Matt for the 3^rd time…Lio will teach Dante…the failed student will be Matt Sydal.

(5)  World Title Eliminator: Jon Moxley defeats Preston Vance…Moxley rips & bites at Vance’s mask…Vance is busted open…Paradigm Shift for the win (02:03)…AFTER…Mox is clearly late to another meeting.

*FTR backstage with Tony…at Full Gear they prove their the best team on the planet.

*Cody (& Arn) to the ring…Cody’s trying desperately to get the fans back on his side…tosses his sneakers into the crowd after asking the fans to put themselves in his shoes…but Cody will not “turn” because that would be the easy way…Andrade interrupts, Cody makes stupid choices…first, that stupid tattoo…second, getting in Andrade’s business…offers to make Cody his little bitch…LIGHTS OUT…LIGHT ON…Malakai Black spits the mist in Cody’s face…Black & Andrade attack Cody & Arn…Pac down for the save…refs & agents pull everyone apart.

(6)  Uno, Grayson, Cabana, Silver defeat Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, Young Bucks…The Elite are dressed as the Ghostbusters, with Baby Nakazawa & the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in tow…as the match breaks down with the ref knocked out, the Elite powerbomb Cabana on their Proton Packs…someone “left the barn door open” & 3 more members (presumably) of Dark Order come to ringside, including one dressed as a horse…after dispatching Reynolds & Angels, the Elite deliver a 4-way BTE Trigger to the horse & unmask him to find Brandon Cutler…BUT IF THAT’S CUTLER, WHO’S IN THE STAY PUFT COSTUME?! (DUN, DUN, DUUUUNNN!!!)…the Marshmallow Man is revealed to be Hangman Adam Page, who takes Matt Jackson’s head off with a lariat & delivers a Dead Eye piledriver to Omega…John Silver hits the Spin Doctor on Matt Jackson for the win (13:02)…AFTER…Hangman & Dark Order celebrate with some adult beverages.
