October 6th AEW Dynamite

(1)  The Super Elite defeat Bryan Danielson, Christian Cage, Jurassic Express…Christian suffers an Indy-Taker on the floor & never returns to the match…4-way BTE Trigger on Jungle Boy, Cole covers for the win (18:10).

*Jon Moxley backstage promo…says no one in AEW can pin or submit him, so now they want to get silly with ladders…that’s fine, AEW is his company & that’s his belt!

*CM Punk out…crowd dives…to the ring…he lived in, wrestled in, & trained people in Philly…& it was so good to him that he wants to give back…so he offers to either wrestle or buy everyone cheesesteaks…a “Wrestle!” chant makes it official…he challenges Daniel Garcia to a match on Rampage.

*Arn Anderson burning a bon fire on Cody’s property…makes Cody throw his expensive tie into the fire…Arn slaps Cody…there’s a lesson here I’m sure, but damned if I can figure it out.

*Bobby Fish promo…Sammy is destined to be the shortest-reigning TNT champion ever…Sammy responds, “did what I said I would do” & won the TNT title…“did what I said I would do” & bought Fuego a new truck…now he says he’s going to beat Bobby Fish.

(2)  Sammy Guevara defeats Bobby Fish…retains the TNT Championship…Go To Hell for the win (09:15)…

AFTER THE BELL…American Top Team comes through the fans & surround the ring…Scorpio Sky lands the first blow from behind & ATT begin a 6-on-1 beat down of Sammy…Fuego tries to make the save, but fails…Chris Jericho & Jake Hager race down & clear the ring…Dan Lambert on the mic at the top of the ramp, says Rampage is in Miami on Oct 15^th, the home of ATT…proposes Inner Circle vs. Men of the Year & Junior Dos Santos!

*The Acclaimed promo…yo, they’re rappers, yo!…challenge the Lucha Brothers for the tag titles on Rampage.

*Tony Schiavone in the ring…announces Dynamite’s move to TBS on January 5^th…then announces a new AEW title: the TBS Championship…it will be a Women’s Division Championship & the first champion will come from a tournament that begins in January.

*Darby Allin sits down with JR…Darby paints half his face because he feels half dead inside…MJF exposed his tragic story last week, but Darby won’t let MJF beat him mentally or physically.

(3)  Darby Allin defeats Nick Comoroto…Darby attacks before the bell, runs Comoroto into the ringpost…Coffin Drop for the win (04:03)…AFTER…QT Marshall hits a Diamond Cutter on Sting…Sting no-sells, kicks QT low, delivers a Scorpion Death Drop.

*Dark Order backstage…they’re finally all on the same page & will vote on all decisions in the future.

*Dante Martin in the ring with Tony…he’s been in the ring with the top guys recently & he’s been able to hang with all of them…he’s looking to fight anyone…LIGHTS OUT…a single spotlight comes back on & Malakai Black is standing behind him…he spits the black mist, hits the Black Mass, then grabs a mic, “The House of Black accepts!”

*Ricky Starks in the ring, shows the crowd the FTW title that was born right down the road in South Philly…Starks had planned to challenge Cage to a Philly Street Fight, but apparently Cage didn’t show up to work…Brian Cage’s music hits & Cage races to the ring to attack Starks…Hook & Hobbs pull Stark out of the ring to safety.

*Backstage reactions to the new TBS Championship…Thunder Rosa wants it…Skye Blue is in the tournament & she’s in it to win it…Ruby Soho says the TBS title is the kind of flavor she likes…Jade Cargill says she’s going to turn it into “That Bitch Show.”

(4)  Serena Deeb defeats Hikaru Shida…Serena slams Shida’s injured knee into the mat several times before sinking in the Serenity Lock for the submission win (10:17)…AFTER…Serena takes Shida’s “50 Wins” trophy & cracks Shida over the head with it.

*Darby Allin backstage with Marves…Darby finds out MJF has asked for a match next week…Darby accepts, walks up to (presumably) MJF’s limo looking for a fight…Darby gets attacked from behind by masked men, run into barricades, F-10’ed by “Wardlow Machine” & choked with his skateboard by a masked figure in a suit…who could they have been?!

*Lio Rush says he’s a huge fan of Dante Martin & proposes to help Dante prepare for Malakai Black.

*Britt Baker (& crew) backstage with Tony…she’s happy for the ladies who will be fighting for new TBS Championship…now they can leave her alone to watch from her perch on top of the Women’s Division.

(5)  Hangman Page defeats Orange Cassidy, Pac, Andrade, Matt Hardy, Lance Archer, Jon Moxley…in a CASINO LADDER MATCH…¹Pac & ²Cassidy begin the match…³Andrade enters next…followed by ⁴Matt Hardy…⁵Lance Archer…⁶Jon Moxley…the Joker is ⁷Hangman Adam Page…Hangman & Moxley trade fists atop the ladder…Moxley drops & Hangman retrieves the Poker Chip for the win (17:12)…as a result, Hangman Adam Page will receive a future World Championship match…Hangman enjoys some celebratory adult beverages as the show ends!

*Hangman Page backstage with Tony during a commercial break on “Rhodes to the Top” …shows Tony a picture of his new baby boy…says he used up all his personal time & had to get back to work…now he needs to catch up with some friends & prepare for his future World Championship match.
