On April 15th this year, Samoa Joe was let go from WWE’s Main Roster.

Over the weekend, Dave Meltzer and others began reporting that Samoa Joe had re-signed with the company’s NXT brand.

At that point, we even knew that he would return in a non-wrestling role.

Sure enough. That’s what happened on the June 15th episode of NXT.
