September 15th AEW Dynamite

*CM Punk pops the JERSEY crowd, does a “ramp dive” into the fans, takes a lap around the ring to give some high-fives, & joins commentary.

(1)  Adam Cole defeats Frankie Kazarian…Panama Sunrise followed by the Last Shot for the win (08:05)…AFTER…story time…Christian, Luchasaurus, & Jungle Boy have gotten under his skin…he challenges them to face himself & the Bucks next week at Grand Slam.

*Lucha Brothers & Butcher/Blade video package…they used to be “familia”…but Friday they will sweat, cry, & bleed for the tag titles on Rampage!

*Fuego del Sol & Sammy Guevara backstage with Tony…Fuego has a new contract & a new car but he would trade it all for the TNT title…so he poses the challenge…though I’m not sure Fuego’s Hyundai is worth Miro’s time.

*MJF & Wardlow to the ring…this guy from Long Island runs down NJ (imagine the nerve?)…this draws a “SHUT THE F*@K UP” chant from the NJ faithful…MJF decides to “talk” to the late Brian Pillman, references his widow “Methanie” again…warns that if Junior shows up in Queens it will be obvious that he’s better than Brian Jr…Pillman’s music plays, MJF sends Wardlow up the ramp to cut him off, but Pillman slips in behind MJF with a chair…MJF begs for his life but Wardlow is back in time to save him…Pillman avoids Wardlow’s charge & holds the ring with the chair…cut to…

*Brian Pillman, Jr. sit down with J.R. from earlier in the day…Pillman reminds MJF that while Max was fed with a silver spoon, Pillman’s upbringing was feral…MJF is not stepping in the ring with just any man, he’s stepping in the ring with a Pillman.

*Christian/Jurassic Express backstage with Marves…Christian reminds Adam Cole that he’s already used to losing “Wednesday Night Wars”…and he had better get ready to lose on Friday, too!

(2)  FTR defeat Dante Martin/Matt Sydal…Big Rig on Martin, Cash covers for the win (09:02).

*Rampage next week will be a 2 hours special!

*Lance Archer/Minoru Suzuki promo…Moxley/Kingston will answer for the #SuzukiIncident…“Suzuki-Gun Ichiban!”

*Malakai Black to the ring…points out Rosario Dawson at ringside in a Cody Rhodes hoodie…Black leaves the ring to confront her, she boldly slips through the barricade to face him…this could get ugly…but OF COURSE, the spotlight finds Cody coming through the crowd…Black turns towards Cody, Dawson jumps on Black’s back…Cody makes it to ringside just as Black manages to get Dawson off his back…Black & Cody brawl back through the crowd as we go to commercial…

*Anna Jay backstage with Marves…Evil Uno cuts Anna off…Reynolds interrupts…the Dark Order is a mess…Anna doesn’t want any of them ringside for her match with Bunny on Rampage if they can’t get it together…Anna storms off with Tay Conti.

*Dan Lambert in the ring with American Top Team & the Men of the Year…more old school heel gold…Jericho & Hager interrupt…Lambert demands they “turn this $h!t off” but the NJ crowd continues to sing us to the chorus of Fozzy’s Judas anyway…Jericho & Lambert exchange insults (& they’re glorious)…all leading to a proposed match next week in the Big Apple between Inner Circle & The Men of the Year with American Top Team.

*Gunn Club promo…why stab Paul Wight in the back?…they’re undefeated yet they get no respect

(3)  Jade Cargill defeats Leyla Hirsch…Leyla misses a moonsault…Cargill hits a bicycle kick, followed by Jaded for the win (06:21).

*Andrade promo…still pissed that Chavo interfered in his match…he doesn’t need help, he’s the Kingpin!

*Taz confronts Punk at commentary for “taking his spot”…as Hook gets in Punk’s face, Powerhouse Hobbs attacks from behind…Hook clears the announce table, Hobbs chokeslams Punk onto it (doesn’t break…ouch!).

(4)  Darby Allin defeats Shawn Spears…Spears attempts C-4 from the apron’s edge onto the repositioned ring steps, Darby escapes & flips into a Stunner…suicide dive to the floor knocking Spears off the steps…rolls Spears back in for a Coffin Drop to Spears’ back for the win (08:16)…AFTER…FTR into the ring…they start brawling with Sting & Darby…Tully hits Sting with a chair, he no-sells & grabs Tully by the throat but FTR save their manager…FTR hit the 2-man Spike Piledriver on Sting…Tully uses a towel again, this time to disrespectfully wipe Sting’s face paint off.

*Bryan Danielson to the ring to speak with Tony…Don Callis interrupts, with Kenny Omega, calls Danielson a mark just like the fans…Danielson cuts Don off, he’s talking to Kenny…it’s not about the title, let’s give the people what they want…Don says “no”…Danielson wants to hear it from Omega, says Kenny has lost his balls…Kenny accepts (Don is not happy).

*Miro responds to Fuego…he’s going to bash his brains (in) & bash his car.

*Matt Hardy promo…Orange Cassidy owes him a debt for his broken nose…Matt will shave his head & turn him into the “Orange Egghead.”

(5)  Jon Moxley/Eddie Kingston defeat 2-Point-0…Kingston grabs a half nelson on Parker, Moxley assists the suplex with a nasty lariat…Moxley covers Parker for the win (06:36)…AFTER…Wild Thing is cut short in favor of Suzuki’s music…just as Suzuki reaches the ring, Lance Archer surprises Kingston by pulling him to the floor, they battle into the crowd…Mox & Suzuki battle around ringside & eventually into the crowd as well, as the show ends.
