Intercontinental Championship Ascension Ceremony
- Sami Zayn, AJ Styles, and Jeff Hardy come to the ring.
- Corey Graves explains that all three will compete in a ladder match. The winner will need to retrieve both belts.
- The whole point of this segment is to raise both Sami and Jeff’s belts up.
- AJ reminds Sami that he beat him last week. He also reminds Jeff that he “cheated” to win it.
- Sami says the whole thing shouldn’t be happening.
- Jeff tells Sami to shut up.
- Sami Zayn tips a ladder over on both men and then retreats.
- Adam Pearce comes out to say that he’s adding AJ to the match tonight.
Zayn defeats Styles and Hardy – 11:58
- AJ Styles hit Jeff Hardy with the Phenomenal Forearm, but Sami Zayn tossed Styles out of the ring and covered Hardy for the win.
Post Match
- Styles hit both men with a ladder.

Backstage Interview with Otis
- Before Otis can answer what he’s going to do with Money in the Bank contract, Miz and Morrison come by to encourage Otis to give up the contract.
- Tucker points out that Morrison’s name is not on the lawsuit. Otis attacks Morrison.

Bayley Interview
- Nikki Cross can notice what Bayley did to her best friend and imagine imagine what Bayley will to her.
Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Gran Metalik – 06:20
- Nakamura hit the kinshasa for the pinfall victory.
Post Match
- Lucha House Party got in another fight with Lince Dorado shoving Kalisto.
Jey Uso In-Ring Promo
- WWE replays the clip from last week and Jey Uso asks Roman, “What’s up with the look?”
- Roman doesn’t come out.
- Paul Heyman comes out to say that Jey and Roman will have a face to face discussion tonight when Roman wants to have the discussion. He guarantees that will happen tonight.
Backstage Interview with King Corbin
- Corbin wants to put Riddle in some serious pain.
- Riddle says you can’t keep a good bro down. He’ll show us the difference between a stallion and a jackass.
King Corbin defeats Matt Riddle – 11:17
- Riddle attacks Corbin before the bell.
- Corbin hit end of days for the pinfall victory.
Riddle Post Match Interview
- He’ll continue to grind until Smackdown is the Bro Show.
Bliss Interview
- Bliss says that Lacey is the kind of “lady” that sends food back. When Bliss is done with her, the only food being sent back is that sour southern tea.
Lacey Evans defeats Alexa Bliss – 10:30
- Lacey went for her moonsault, but Bliss moved out of the way.
- Thunderdome went Red and the Fiend music played briefly. Bliss snapped.
- When she refused to break at the referee’s command, the ref called for the bell.
- Lacey Evans wins by disqualification.
Post Match
- Bliss delivered Sister Abigail to Lacey Evans on the outside.
- The Fiend said “Let Me In” over the loud speaker and Alexa laughed while walking out in a trance.
- Roman Reigns happened to come out at the same time. Alexa stared a hole through him.
Roman Reigns and Jey Uso In Ring Discussion
- Roman tells Jey that he would give him the title if he could, but he wouldn’t know what to do with it.
- Reigns says their family relies on him to be the tribal chief. It won’t ever be Jey because it will always be Roman.
- Roman Reigns left Jey Uso standing in the middle of the ring. As Roman left, Jey asked “what if you’re wrong?”
- People look at Jey Uso and ask “Which one are you?” After Sunday, they’ll know him as the man who beat Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions.
- Reigns hit Jey with a superman punch and screamed at him to close out Smackdown.
