Wrestler Surprises fiancée with In-Ring Wedding at CCW Show in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Wrestling “weddings” have been commonplace for years in storylines. However, actual, legal weddings in a wrestling ring during a show are much more rare. This past Friday in Port St. Lucie, Fla. at Coastal Championship Wrestling’s St. Lucie Showdown II, “The Bus” Big English (legal name Andy Foster) came to the ring, took the mic and announced to the crowd that he would marry hisfiancée Lina in the ring after the match, if he won.
Lina, who was in attendance, had no idea this was coming and was as shocked as the crowd when the announcement was made.
The Bus went on to win a 3-on-1 handicap match as the dastardly Lew Spectre tried to ruin the planned nuptials, by sending three men after The Bus. Big English made quick work of his opponents. Shortly after, “Here Comes The Bride” was played, Lina made her way to the ring, accompanied by CCW Executive Director Nelio Cuomo Costa. CCW’s Randy Rhodes officiated the ceremony in the ring and the happy couple were officially married.
