• AEW announced themed episodes of Dynamite
  • Road Rager – July 7
  • Fyter Fest – July 14 and 21
  • Fight for the Fallen – July 28
• Mark Henry and Tony Khan went on Busted Open Radio and discussed the possibility of Mark Henry wrestling. They both confirmed that it will happen.
• Mark Henry said “There is Interest on Both Sides” regarding AEW and Braun Strowman.
• Forbes did an article on AEW and Tony Khan
  • Shahid Khan said “I absolutely didn’t think this was a good idea…But I told Tony, ‘Look, when I’m dead and gone, I’m going to be leaving you and your sister a lot of money. Why don’t you blow some of that while I’m alive?’”
• Brodie Lee Junior was on the AEW Unrestricted podcast earlier this week. When asked if he would do anything other than become a professional wrestler, he said there was a 0% chance that he would do something else: “I’m gonna do it because my dad did it. And I ain’t gonna stop and not relive his legacy.” -1
• Jon Moxley and Renee Paquette welcome their new daughter Nora into the world.
• Cody Rhodes announced that he’s starting the Everything But Wrestling Podcast. The show, as indicated by the name will cover, everything except wrestling. Some sample topics in season one include Star Trek v. Star Wars Fandom, Potter Houses, The Office, etc.
• AEW announced their New York City debut on September 22 at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Stadium in Flushing, NY.
• Mike Johnson from PW Insider spoke to Tony Khan about AEW’s format going forward once they go back on the road.
  • On Wednesdays, AEW will have Dynamite live.
    • Before Dynamite, they’re going to record a shorter version of Dark Elevation.
    • After Dynamite, they will tape Rampage.
  • There will be times when Rampage is a live event – like the Go Home show for All Out will be a live Rampage.
  • For AEW Dark, the plan is to do a studio show where they’ll do tapings. And it will continue as a developmental program.
• All Out is going to take place at the Sears Center, which most people assumed. Khan announced it in the interview with Mike Johnson. Up to that point, we didn’t know for certain that the event would be at Sears and not at Wintrust (home of AEW Revolution 2020).
