Smackdown results will begin at 8PM tonight.

Braun Strowman In-Ring Promo

WWE recapped Strowman’s victory from WrestleMania. Shinsuke Nakamura came out to the ring and challenged Strowman to a match. Nakamura reminded Strowman that they beat him at Elimination Chamber. Good promo from Shinsuke Nakamura.

Recap of Kabuki Warriors vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross from WrestleMania

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defeat The Kabuki Warriors

Sane attacked Bliss right away and the Kabuki Warriors isolated her in the corner. Prior to Smackdown going to commercial, the action had spilled to the outside. Asuka stood on the announce table providing some commentary. Bliss pulled her off the table and Nikki hit a cross body off the announce table.

Back from commercial, the Kabuki Warriors had control over Nikki Cross. After Cross hit Asuka with a bulldog, she managed to tag in Alexa Bliss who missed insult to injury on Kairi Sane. The Pirate Princess got a near fall after she hit Bliss with a spear. When Kairi missed the insane elbow, Bliss and Cross took back over. Bliss hit twisted bliss from the top rope to the floor. Back in the ring, Nikki used the twisting neck breaker to secure the pinfall victory.

Recap of the Mandy Rose and Otis Saga

Dolph Ziggler and Sonya Deville came out and got in the face of Corey Graves and Michael Cole. Tucker came out very upset about the beat down he got from Ziggler last week. Tucker vs. Ziggler is up next. When Smackdown came back from commercial, WWE replayed Ziggler hitting Tucker with the Zig Zag on the steel steps.

Dolph Ziggler defeats Tucker

Tucker took the early advantage hitting a vertical suplex. When Ziggler went for a drop kick, Tucker grabbed him by the feet and used a sling shot to send him into the post and out of the ring. Tucker sent Ziggler into the ring steps, but Dolph raked the eyes of Tucker. That didn’t stop Tucker from tossing Ziggler on top of the announce table. Back in the ring, Tucker used a very big powerslam for a near fall and maintained control with a cross body.

After Tucker slammed his shoulder into the ring post, Ziggler connected with a super kick for the pinfall victory.

The brag because Miz defended the Tag Team Titles from his couch and John Morrison defended the Tag Team Titles by himself. They have a lot of other good news like they have a Universal Champion that will actually show up for television. As Miz and Morrison began to perform their Gold Single “Hey Hey Ho Ho,” but the Usos came out.

The Usos are mad because Miz and Morrison didn’t defend the titles in a tag match. Miz said he still isn’t medically cleared. New Day came out too. The other members of the tag teams will compete in another triple threat match for the tag titles next week. Match Announcement for Next Week: Jey Uso vs. Miz vs. Big E for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.

Announced: Forgotten Sons Have Been Called Up to Smackdown

Forgotten Sons defeat Lucha House Party

Cutler began the match with Lince Dorado, but both men quickly tagged out. Dorado eventually hit a handspring stunner and then Metalik used a springboard cross body to take out both members of the Forgotten Sons. Blake and Cutler used a stomp assisted slop drop to pin Metalik.

Carmella and Dana Brooke want to Challenge Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross

Nikki accepted the challenge, and Bliss told her to have decaf from now on.

Sasha Banks and Bayley Promo

Three weeks ago Paige tried to ruin Bayley and Sasha’s friendship. Bayley says they are the best. Sasha says nobody from the past present or future can touch . . . Tamina came out.

Tamina says that nobody beat her at WrestleMania. It took all four of them to beat her. Sasha says Tamina can’t jump the line. Bayley says Tamina can have the title shot only if she can beat Sasha Banks. Tamina says Bayley just screwed Sasha.

Sheamus defeats Cal Bloom

Cal Bloom got a little bit of offense in, but Sheamus took him down with a back elbow. After the Brogue Kick, Sheamus got the pinfall victory.

Celebration of 25 Years of Triple H Starts in 2 Weeks

Braun Strowman defeats Shinsuke Nakamura

Braun immediately kicked Shinsuke Nakamura to the mat and then tossed him across the ring. On the outside of the ring, Strowman lifted Shinsuke Nakamura into the air and slammed him down across the barricade. Smackdown went to commercial.

Back from commercial, Strowman was tossing Shinsuke around. Nakamura slipped out of the running powerslam and followed up with a pair of kicks. After hitting the running powerslam, Braun Strowman got the pinfall victory.

Firefly Fun House

Bray Wyatt says he brought Strowman in from the swamp, and then Braun turned his back on him. The puppets don’t want Bray to forgive him. Wyatt just wants an apology. Bray wants the Universal Title.

Strowman says “Before you go, I want you to know that anytime you want, I’m ready to Let You In.”

April 10th Episode of Smackdown Preview

Braun Strowman

After his big win against Goldberg at WrestleMania, Braun Strowman kicks off his new championship era tonight on Smackdown.

Strowman’s Universal Championship victory against Goldberg at WrestleMania improved his 2020 record to 4-1. All of Braun’s matches prior to facing Goldberg involved the Artis Collective. He has victories over Cesaro and a pair of victories over Shinsuke Nakamura on January 10th and  January 31st. Braun lost to Sami Zayn in a handicap match where the defeat also cost him the Intercontinental Championship.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defend the Tag Titles The Kabuki Warriors

In a WrestleMania rematch, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defend their newly won tag team championships against the Kabuki Warriors.

Bliss and Cross are 2-2 in Tag Team competition with a victory over Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville and the WrestleMania victory over the Kabuki Warriors. The two losses came to Sasha Banks and Bayley and Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke.

The Kabuki Warriors are just 1-1 this year. The loss came to Bliss and Cross at Wrestlemania while the win came against Natalya and Liv Mogan.
