Yuji Nagata defeats Gabriel Kidd – 08:09

• Nagata used a crossface to secure the submission victory.

Wato and Tenzan defeat Taguchi and Tsuji – 09:54

• Wato hit a tornillo off the top rope to secure a pinfall victory over Yota Tsuji.
• It looked like Taguchi may have mocked Wato a little after the match. Perhaps they’ll have a singles match in the future.

Goto, Ishii, Yoshi-Hashi defeats Honma, Kojima, Makabe – 09:15

• Goto used the Magistral cradle to get the pinfall victory over Togi Makabe.

Taichi, Kanemaru, ZSJ defeat Tanahashi, Ibushi, Uemura – 09:29

• Kanemaru used deep impact on Uemura to secure the pinfall victory.
• Sabre and Taichi continued to beat on Tanahashi after the match as Kota Ibushi looked on frustrated.
• Taichi and Sabre held Tanahashi for Ibushi to attack. When Ibushi made no motion, they attacked him too.

Yano, Okada, Sho defeat Gedo, Jado, Yujiro Takahashi – 12:05

• This is an opening round match in the NEVER OpenWeight 6-Man Championship Tournament.
• Sho used an arm bar to get the submission victory over Gedo.
• Okada, Sho, and Yano advance to face the winners of the next match

Post Match

• After the match, Okada explained that he has Yujiro in a KOPW qualifier. He named his stipulation as a 1 vs. 3 handicap match. I guess that means Okada vs. Yujiro, Gedo, and Jado. Yujiro will also pick a stipulation and the fans will decide which stipulation applies to their match.

Bushi, Takagi, Sanada defeat Suzuki, Desperado, and Douki – 13:42

• Sanada used Skull End to get the submission victory over Douki.
• They will face Okada, Sho, and Yano on 8/8 in the semi-finals of the NEVER Championship Tournament.
• Sanada provides the closing remarks.

Post Match

• Shingo Takagi and Minoru Suzuki exchanged a whole bunch of forearms. Suzuki held up the NEVER Championship and laid it on the ground in front of him. Apparently Suzuki will be Shingo’s next challenger.
