                    Rey Mysterio Retirement Ceremony

                    • Murphy, Austin Theory, and Seth Rollin come to the ring.
                    • Rollins says it his responsibility to come out and honor the sacrifice of Rey Mysterio.
                    • Seth has prepared a video package for Rey Mysterio’s retirement.
                    • After Seth Rollins says it will be his honor to personally induct Mysterio into the hall of fame, Aleister Black rushes the ring and attacks Seth.

                    Aleister Black defeats Seth Rollins (21:04)

                    • At one point, Rollins dumped Black out of the ring. As Theory and Murphy approached Black, Humberto Carillo came out wielding a steel chair.
                    • Black won with a magistral cradle.

                    Post Match

                    Theory and Murphy jumped Aleister Black. Carillo attempted to come to Black’s aid, but the numbers were too much. Seth Rollins hit Carillo with a curb stomp.

                    Recap Apollo Crews Build to Championship Victory

                    Backstage with Angel Garza and Zelina Vega

                    • Reviewed Garza’s victory over Owens last week.
                    • Zelina Vega does not like that Charly called the victory controversial
                    • Angel says all is fair in love and war.
                    • Charly thanks Angel for his time, and he gives her a flower.
                    • When Garza leaves, Zelina Vega grabs the flower and destroys it.

                    Shawn Michaels Weighs In on Edge vs. Randy Orton

                    • He thinks they can deliver on the “Greatest Wrestling Match of All Time.”
                    • Michaels picked Edge as the winner.

                    Recap Issue with MVP and Drew McIntyre

                    Lana Backstage Issues with MVP

                    • She wants to know what right MVP thinks he has to get involved with her Bobby.
                    • He says he has work to do.
                    • When she says he’s trying to live vicariously through Bobby. MVP says that’s not remotely true, but if it was, doesn’t that makes two of us?
                    • She slaps him

                    In-Ring Interview with Apollo Crews

                    • Kayla Braxton introduces him.
                    • Apollo Crews chooses Kevin Owens as his first opponent.
                    • Kevin Owens comes to the ring, but he doesn’t want the shot because he thinks Crews is pitying him.
                    • Owens says it’s true he does deserve it, but he feels bad because Apollo’s first title reign is going to be a short one.

                    Crews and Owens Ends in No Contest – 10:21

                    • Kevin Owens unintentionally kicked Apollo below the belt. Apollo wanted to continue.
                    • Andrade and Angel Garza hit the ring causing the referee to call for the bell

                    Crews and Owens defeat Andrade and Garza – 5:01

                    • Apollo Crews pins Andrade after a powerbomb.

                    Backstage Interview with Asuka

                    • Asuka is always getting better.
                    • Charlotte stays the same
                    • The Empress bows to nobody

                    Viking Raiders and Street Profits Go Bowling

                    • Humorous segment.
                    • Raiders tie things up 2-2

                    Recap Last Week’s Altercation between IIconics and Cross and Bliss

                    • The Iiconics were fighting with Bliss and Cross in the backstage area before Raw went to commercial.

                    Billie Kay defeats Nikki Cross – 05:09

                    • Nikki Cross went for a high cross body, but crashed and burned. Billie Kay followed up with a slam for the pinfall victory.

                    Backstage Interview with Drew McIntyre

                    • If anyone wants to step up to Drew McIntyre, he’ll give them all a one-way ticket to Claymore Country.

                    Rey Mysterio Addresses His Injuries

                    • If an infection sets in, then it could be a career ending injury.
                    • Mysterio says he doesn’t know if he’ll ever be cleared to compete.
                    • Dominick comes on the video screen to say Seth Rollins is no messiah. He’s barely a human being. He goes on to say that someone from this family has to take care of Seth Rollins.
                    • Rey says “damn you for everything you put my family through.”
                    • Dominick says, “Seth Rollins – you’re a man of scripture. An eye for an eye.”

                    Nia Jax In-Ring Promo

                    • Jax says she keeps getting double teamed.
                    • Nia says Asuka got the title belt gifted to her.

                    R-Truth Pins Rob Gronkowski to win the 24/7 Championship

                    • Rob Gronkowski was posing in his yard, but R-Truth was disguised as a landscaper.
                    • He rolled Rob up for the pinfall.

                    Nia Jax defeats Kairi Sane – 03:18

                    • After tossing Kairi into the ring steps, Nia Jax hit a legdrop for the pinfall victory.

                    Randy Orton Backstage Interview

                    • Randy is all caught up on the WWE Network. Everyone says Ric Flair is the greatest of all time.
                    • Ric Flair said Randy Orton is the greatest.
                    • Orton goes on to say that Edge is right. Rand admits to phoning it in and that drives Edge nuts.

                    Charlotte In-Ring Promo

                    • She tells the crowd to respect your champion because she’ll defend her championship against Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai.
                    • Charlotte says that all of the people in the crowd should be inspiring to be Io and Rhea. She wants someone to stand up to the throne so she can make you bow down.

                    Charlotte defeats Asuka – 09:31

                    • Charlotte knocked Asuka out of the ring when Asuka’s own music came on. It was Nia Jax. The distraction apparently led to Asuka getting counted out.

                    Backstage Interview with Lana

                    • Lana believes that MVP is the reason Bobby asked her not to go to ringside.
                    • She makes the observation that Bobby asked her not to go to the ring during his matches, but he didn’t say anything about MVP’s matches.

                    Drew McIntyre defeats MVP – 02:55

                    • Lana comes to ringside before the match started.
                    • Bobby Lashley pulled MVP out of he ring to prevent MVP from getting hit with the Claymore. This led to Drew McIntyre hitting a tope con hilo on both men.
                    • Drew McIntyre hit the Claymore kick for the pinfall victory.

                    Post Match

                    • Bobby Lashley hopped in the ring and put the full nelson on Drew McIntyre as Raw went off the air.

                    Seth Rollins Presides Over Rey Mysterio’s Retirement Ceremony

                    The Rey Mysterio retirement angle has been on again off again dating back to the fall.

                    Rey’s son Dominick got involved, and Rey went straight to a title match angle with Brock Lesnar.

                    Now, Mysterio faces another setback in his career and it looks like we’re meant to believe that Rey may again be retiring.

                    Seth Rollins brought up Dominick’s name in a promo last week. Seemingly maybe just to remind us about his existence.

                    Will this mean the return of Dominick?

                    Aleister Black (19-2) vs. Seth Rollins (2-5)

                    When it comes to singles competition in 2020, nobody has more wins than Aleister Black?

                    When it comes to top guys in wrestling and their win-loss record, has anyone had as bad a year as Seth Rollins?

                    Despite the extreme difference in the win-loss column, I get the impression that this is a pivotal match in Aleister Black’s future.

                    If he wins, he moves up the card. If he loses, I think he moves down.

                    Asuka (5-5) vs. Charlotte Flair (10-3) – Champion vs. Champion

                    Tonight’s Raw includes another Champion vs. Champion match.

                    Charlotte recently traveled to Smackdown and lost to Bayley in a non-title Champion vs. Champion match.

                    While Asuka has climbed to the top of the mountain, she hasn’t done it by winning a ton of matches. Will Asuka finally leave Raw with a winning record?

                    Charlotte was undefeated in singles competition through WrestleMania, but she has quickly lost three out of her last five matches in singles action ( losses to Io Shirai, Nia Jax in a triple threat, and Bayley).

                    Who comes out on top tonight?

                    Apollo Crews (2-5) vs. Opponent of his Choosing – U.S. Title

                    Apollo Crews is choosing his first championship opponent for tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

                    Will Apollo pick someone moving up from NXT?

                    Will he give Andrade a rematch?
