                    Scott D’amore Addresses the World Championship

                    • Scott D’amore talks about Ace Austin winning the tournament
                    • He has a responsibility to the fans
                    • Ace Austin and Mike Elgin both came out.
                    • Eddie Edwards comes out too.
                    • D’Amore announced that Tessa Blanchard will defend the championship against Eddie Edwards, Michael Elgin, Ace Austin, and Trey at Slammiversary.

                    The Future of the Impact World Championship

                    Tessa Blanchard is the reigning Impact World Champion, but she has not been able to compete since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

                    Since we last saw Tessa Blanchard, Impact held a Number 1 Contender’s Tournament that concluded last week with Ace Austin’s big win over Wentz.

                    Moose has also named himself the TNA World Champion.

                    What will Impact announce? The idea that they might strip Tessa Blanchard of the title during a pandemic is unfathomable. It would make Tessa’s historic World Title victory a complete dud.

                    The Question of Who Attacked Trey Lingers . . .

                    Trey qualified for the finals of the Impact World Championship Number 1 Contender’s Tournament.

                    Someone took him out in the backstage area just moments before his match.

                    The list of suspects is large. This story continues.

                    Taya Valkyrie holds the record for the longest Impact World Championship title run.

                    Jordynne Grace ended that reign earlier this year.
