Aleister Black Pre Tape Interview

He says being buried didn’t make AJ Styles any more humble. If you do throw me off the building, pray that I don’t get back up. When I win, you’ll wish you were buried deeper than six feet.

Charlotte Flair defeats Liv Morgan

Charlotte took control of the match in pretty decisive fashion, but Morgan trapped Charlotte in the corner with a bunch of forearms and a dropkick. Morgan followed up with a hurricanrana, but Charlotte leveled Morgan with a clothesline. Charlotte was stomping on Morgan as Raw went to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Charlotte was dominating Morgan, but Liv kept fighting. Morgan made a comeback with a pair of clotheslines, face buster, and a shining wizard. Charlotte used a back elbow and a forearm to turn things back around.

When Morgan went for another head scissors takeover, Charlotte grabbed her and hit a powerbomb. Charlotte cinched in a Boston crab, but Liv made it to the ropes. Liv Morgan went for Oblivion, but Charlotte evaded and used the Figure Eight for the submission victory.

Drew McIntyre defeats Murphy

Murphy’s first several attempts at offense had no impact on Drew McIntyre. Murphy rolled to the outside and began to walk up the ram. Drew greeted Murphy and kicked him down onto the ramp. McIntyre then picked up Murphy and rammed into and dropped him on top of the barricade.

Drew McIntyre momentarily lost focus on Seth Rollins and Murphy took advantage. He sent Drew into the barricade twice and then into he post. Back in the ring, Murphy hit a top rope meteora for a one count. After that, nothing seemed to work for Murphy and Drew hit the Glasgow kiss to slow him down. As Murphy attempted to climb the ropes, Drew slapped him off the ropes down onto the barricade.

Drew then came off the top rope with a chop across the head of Murphy. McIntyre went for a top rope move, but Murphy slipped away and hit a chickandos kick and a powerbomb out of the corner for another one count.

Murphy set up to deliver Drew’s own Claymore, but Drew hit it instead for the pinfall victory.

Post Match

Drew asked Seth to get in the ring, but Rollins just left. When McIntyre turned his back, Rollins came back and hit him with a superkick. He went on to shout about how this isn’t about Drew. When Rolins went for the stomp, Drew popped up and gave him the Glasgow kiss. Rollins evaded the Claymore though.

Raw Preview

WWE has announced four matches for this evening’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

Last Chance Gauntlet Match for Money in the Bank

Apollo Crews was injured in last week’s match against Andrade. Tonight’s gauntlet match will determine the final participant. The participants have not been announced.

Murphy (0-3) vs. Drew McIntyre (11-0-0-1)

Seth Rollins’ disciple attempts to soften Drew up ahead of the WWE Title Match this weekend. Murphy has an uphill battle as he remains winless for the year with losses to Rey Mysterio, Aleister Black, and Angelo Dawkins. Drew McIntyre on the other hand has steam rolled everyone winning the Royal Rumble, and defeating Angel Garza, AndradeBrock Lesnar, Big Show, No Way JoseMVPRowanMojo RawleyGallows and Anderson in a handicap match, and AJ Styles and Randy Orton in a triple threat match.

Cedric Alexander and Ricochet (3-2) vs. Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink (0-3)

MVP seems to have developed a relationship with Thorne and Vink. On last week’s episode of Raw, MVP challenged Ricochet and Alexander to a rematch. Ricochet and Alexander accepted on social media.

The team of Alexander and Ricochet’s 3-2 record includes victories over Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, Ever-Rise and Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink. The two losses came at the hands of the Viking Raiders and Angel Garza and Andrade.

The tandem of Vink and Thorne are still looking for their first victory with losses against  Cedric Alexander and Ricochet, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, and the Street Profits.

The Viking Raiders vs. The Street Profits – Non Title

A war of words turned into this match. The Viking Raiders (5-1) have victories over Street Profits and OC in a triple threat match, Singh Brothers, Cedric Alexander and Ricochet, Hawkins and Ryder. The one loss came at the hands of Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy. The Street Profits (6-2) have victories over Mojo Rawley and Riddick Moss, Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink, Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy on 3/2, and 3/8, Angel Garza and Austin Theory on 4/4 and 4/6. Their only losses came to the Viking Raiders in a triple threat match, and Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy.

So the Viking Raiders have only lost to Murphy and Rollins and the Street Profits have only lost to Murphy and Rollins and the Viking Raiders. Will the Profits get their win back? If they do, it only evens things up.

AJ Styles – Rumored Return

WWE has not announced, but the press seems to indicate that he will be on tonight’s show.

Viking Raiders defeat Street Profits

Montez Ford flipped out and evaded several moves from Erik, but his luck eventually ran out. The Raiders hit a combo powerbomb and Ivar splash for a near fall on Montez Ford. Dawkins helped swing the match back, but it didn’t last long. Erik hoisted Ivar up and slammed him down in the corner on top of Montez Ford. Dawkins got back in the ring and hit Erik with an exploder suplex, and the Street Profits had the advantage going into the commercial.

Back from the break, the Street Profits remained in control of the match. Erik got the tag to Ivar who ran wild on Dawkins and knocked Ford out of the ring. The profits would make a comeback with a ton of tandem offense on Ivar. Ivar hit a handspring back elbow to free up for the tag. Montez Ford hit the frog splash on Ivar, but Erik broke up the pinfall attempt and they hit the Viking Experience to pick up the victory.
