Gargano Opens the Show

He has a wheel with legitimate challengers. One space has Leon Ruff written in on the wheel.
Gargano says with one spin, we’ll reverse the curse.
The wheel does some crazy stuff and ends up landing on Leon Ruff.

Leon Ruff defeats Johnny Gargano – 03:33

Damian Priest watched the match from ringside.
Priest provided a little bit of a distraction. Ruff evaded a kick from Gargano and used a crucifix pin to get the pinfall victory.
Leon Ruff is the new North American Champion

Priest and Ruff Backstage

Priest gave his car keys to Leon Ruff and told him to leave.
Gargano is furious about the loss.

Jake Atlas Shown Arriving Earlier in the Day.

He took out Wilde with a crowbar and told Escobar that it was 2 down and one to go. This led to a title match on the show.

Santos Escobar defeats Jake Atlas – 15:01

Atlas hit both Wilde and Mendoza with the same pipe he’s been using in the parking lot. When Wilde and Mendoza grabbed Atlas’ ankle, the referee ejected them from ringside.
Santos Escobar evaded the Rainbow DDT and slammed Atlas to get the pinfall victory.

His illustration is the Zombie Referee chasing Cameron Grimes.

Raquel Gonzalez Came to the Ring for her Match

Boa came to the ring to say that Xia Li was not in the building. Gonzalez beat up Boa instead.
After Raquel left, a dragon ran around the LED screens. An old man came out and delivered a letter to Boa.

August Grey Backstage Interview

Timothy Thatcher attacked him.
Thatcher put Grey through Lumis’ drawing. This seems to cause an issue with Lumis.

Candice LeRae defeats Toni Storm – 10:11

Candice LeRae got the pin by putting her feet on the ropes.

Post Match

Toni went after Candice, but the person with the scream mask made a save.
Shotzi came out, but the scream mask lady and Candice still maintained the advantage.
The person under the scream mask revealed herself to be Indi Hartwell.

Timothy Thatcher defeats Dexter Lumis – 13:31

Cameron Grimes came to ringside, and his distraction allowed Thatcher to lock in an armor and then he rolled Lumis up for the pin.

Post Match

Grimes and Lumis got into a brawl. Ultimately, Grimes put a burlap bag over Lumis’ head.

Gargano Spoke to William Regal

Johnny admitted that he rigged the wheel, and it was a joke. The decision should be reversed.
Regal reversed the decision.

Tommaso Ciampa

16 Years in the business. He trained with Killer Kowalski and Harley Race. The funny thing about those guys is that they didn’t have to tell you they were tough. You just knew it.
These days. . .everyone runs their mouth.
The 2020 locker room culture is going to change, and Tommaso Ciampa is that change.

Cameron Grimes Backstage

Grimes says he was afraid of Lumis’ dark creepy eyes, but he covered them up.

Next Week

Finn Balor returns to address the NXT Championship

Lorcan and Burch defeat Breezango – 09:59

A lot of interference in this match from Pete Dunne, Pat McAfee, and Drake Maverick.
Burch and Lorcan hit the assisted DDT for the pinfall victory.

Post Match

Drake Maverick tried to fight all four members of the Kings of NXT.
Breezango joined in on the fight, but the Kings remained on top.
