Power Struggle Results

Check below for the November 7th NJPW Power Struggle. The show begins at 3 AM Eastern.

Toru Yano defeats Zack Sabre Jr. – 12:11

  • Zack Sabre put Yano in a kneebar through the barricade on the outside. While the referee was pleading with Sabre to release the hold, Yano tied Sabre’s shoe laces together. Sabre didn’t release the hold until the referee’s count was pretty close to 20. Yano got back in the ring and then Zack realized his shoes were tied together.
  • Yano wins by count out.

Shingo Takagi defeats Minoru Suzuki – 18:56

  • Shingo hit the Last of the Dragon on Minoru Suzuki to get the pinfall victory.

Kazuchika Okada defeats Great-O-Khan – 12:58

  • Okada used the Money Clip to earn a referee stoppage for the win.

Post Match

  • Ospreay came in the ring afterward. He told Okada that he used Okada to become more popular. Ospreay wants to be known as the best wrestler in the world.
  • Will Ospreay says he wants to end Okada at the Wrestle Kingdom Tokyo Dome show.
  • Okada takes the microphone, and he says that Ospreay spoke in English. The only thing he understood was “Okada v. Ospreay at Wrestle Kingdom” and that sounds good.

Kenta defeats Hiroshi Tanahashi – 19:57

Jay White defeats Kota Ibushi – 18:47

  • Jay pinned Kota Ibushi with his feet on the ropes.

Tetsuya Naito defeats Evil – 33:08

  • Naito hit Destino, but Dick Togo pulled the referee out of the ring. Togo hopped in the ring and started choking out Naito. Yujiro Takahashi hopped in the ring and hit Pimp Juice. Sanada came down to ringside and cleared the ring.
  • After Evil hit the referee with a low blow, Switchblade Jay White came down to the ring. Jay White hit Naito with a suplex. Kota Ibushi ran to ringside to chase Jay White away. Ibushi also kicked Evil in the head in the process.
  • Tetsuya Naito hit destino for the pinfall victory.

Post Match

  • Jay White came to the ring and declared that he would wrestle Naito on January 5th (the second night of Wrestle Kingdom). Kota Ibushi came to the ring and chased Jay White away.
  • Once Ibushi and White left, Naito said goodbye to the crowd.
