October 22nd AEW Rampage

(1)  World Title Eliminator: Orange Cassidy defeats Powerhouse Hobbs…Hobbs gets warned multiple times for not giving Cassidy timely, clean breaks out of the corner…while Hobbs argues with the ref, Cassidy sinks in the Mouetrap roll up for the win (08:12).

*Penta in the ring with Tony…Alex Abrahantes points out two guys in the front row with green lucha masks…Penta rolls out & rips the masks off, presumably hoping to find FTR…instead Dax & Cash use the distraction to jump Penta from behind…Tully punches Alex…FTR hold their AAA tag titles along with the Lucha Bro’s AEW tag titles over their heads in the ring until Pac runs down & clears the ring.

(2)  Britt Baker defeats Anna Jay…NON-TITLE…Rebel & Hayter pester Anna Jay from ringside every chance they get…Baker eventually sinks in the Lockjaw for the submission win (10:31)…AFTER…Baker returns to the Lockjaw for more punishment which brings out Tay Conti to run off Baker, who leaves the title in the ring…Conti holds the title high & seems to like the way it looks in her hands.

*TBS Championship Tournament Bracket Reveal:

*(1) Anna Jay vs. Jamie Hayter…winner faces Thunder Rosa, who has a 1^st round bye.

*(2) Bunny vs. Red Velvet…winner faces Jade Cargill, who has a 1^st round bye.

*(3) Serena Deeb vs. Hikaru Shida…winner faces Nyla Rose, who has a 1^st round bye.

*(4) Penelope Ford vs. Ruby Soho…winner faces Kris Statlander, who has a 1^st round bye.

*Andrade & Pac split screen interview with Tony…Andrade has friends all around the world & he will win, easy…Pac promises revenge for Death Triangle…it’s time for the main event!

(3)  Pac defeats Andrade…Andrade goes for a Hammerlock DDT, Pac counters into a small package for the win (16:20)…this match ending in a roll up might make it sound bland, but find a way to watch it if you can…it is worth your time…

AFTER…the lights go out immediately after the 3 count…when the light come back on Malakai Black is in the ring…he spits the black mist in Pac’s face & put the boots to him…Black gets a chair from under the ring…Arn Anderson comes down the ramp & pantomimes aiming his Glock at Black…the distraction allows Cody Rhodes to slide in behind & attack Black & Andrade…Cody picks up the chair & Black bails as the show ends.
