April 7th AEW Dark Results

QT Marshall defeats Lee Johnson

QT took Johnson down with an arm drag and then cinched in an arm bar. Johnson managed a pair of dropkicks, but QT answered with a back elbow and back body drop. QT went to the top rope and hit a wanton bomb for the pinfall victory. Somewhere in the match, QT got a busted eye.

Wardlow defeats Ryan Pyles

Excalibur and Tazz did commentary for this match.

Wardlow came out fully dressed in a suit and Ryan Pyles had to watch him take the suit off. As soon as the bell rang, Wardlow pulled Ryan Pyles up into the F-10 for the pinfall victory. It took 25 seconds.

Kip Sabian defeats Tony Donati

Tony Shiavone and Jimmy Havoc did commentary for this match. After 2 minutes, Penelope Ford distracted Donati and allowed Kip to secure the advantage. Kip focused his offense on the back of Donati with several knee strikes. After a PK, Kip earned a near fall. After a hammerlock brain buster, Donati got a near fall. Kip used a Russian Leg sweep that he transitioned into a stretch on the mat for a submission victory.


April 7th AEW Dark Preview

 

Kip Sabian vs. Tony Donati

This marks Tony Donati’s debut episode of AEW Dynamite. Kip Sabian (4-3) has victories over Suge D, QT Marshall, Michael Nakazawa, and Joey Janela. His three losses came to Cody, Darby Allin, and Joey Janela.

QT Marshall vs. Lee Johnson

QT Marshall (0-3) attempts to get his first singles victory over the debuting Lee Johnson. Marshall’s three losses this year have come at the hands of Kip Sabian, Jake Hager, and Brodie Lee.

Wardlow in Action

Wardlow (0-1) looks to get his first victory on AEW. His only match so far was a loss to Cody in the first ever steel cage match.
