*Triple H opens the show with a cryptic quote, “There will come a time when you believe everything is finished…but THAT is the beginning”…and welcomes us to FOX & the season premiere of SmackDown.

*Roman Reigns & the Bloodline to the ring…Worcester acknowledges Roman…Logan Paul interrupts…the Wise Man verbally eviscerates the YouTuber…Logan tries to start trouble by insinuating that maybe Jey is in charge…Sami Zayn calms everything down.

(1)  Solo Sikoa def. Ricochet…Ricochet attempts the Shooting Star Press but Sikoa catches him & counters into the Spinning Solo for the win (08:58).

*The Bloodline watches from their dressing room…Jey & Sami are getting into it again…Roman agrees with Sami that Jey is a hothead…Roman says it’s now Sami’s problem to deal with Jey…and I can’t figure out how Jey’s head hasn’t exploded at this point.

*Sami Zayn & the Usos run into the New Day backstage after the break…New Day has jokes…Sami challenges Xavier & Kofi to find a partner & settle this in the ring.

*Hit Row to the ring…they’re attacked by Legado Del Fantasma, accompanied by Zelina Vega.

(2)  Raquel Rodiguez & Shotzi def. Sonya Deville & Xia Li…Raquel with the Chingona Bomb on Sonya for the win (02:17).

*White Rabbit teaser…the rabbit digs a hole marked by a purple “X” & falls in…we see tomorrow’s date & the phrases, “TOMORROW NIGHT…FEED YOUR HEAD.”

*Karrion Kross & Scarlett to the ring…Drew McIntyre attacks with the strap…security tries to pull Drew off…Kross uses the strap to run Drew into the post & whips him savagely.

*Viking Raiders vignette…don’t confuse their absence for weakness…then a female voice speaks, “when God speaks, they listen…they obey & Valhalla awaits”…Sarah, is that you?

(3)  New Day & Braun Strowman def. Sami Zayn & the Usos…New Day hit the Demolition Coup de Grace on Jimmy, Xavier covers for the win (10:54).

*Maxxine Dupri…yells at Max for attacking Mace & Mansoor again backstage…Max corrects her & LA Knight walks away…YEAH!

*White Rabbit is literally seated in front row behind Michael Cole & Wade Barrett during a brief shot of the desk as we return from a commercial break.

(4)  Gunther def. Sheamus…retains his Intercontinental Championship…around the 17 minute mark Sheamus has Gunther in the Cloverleaf & Gunther appears to tap just before reaching the ropes but the ref waives it off & grants the rope break…Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser rush to ringside to support Gunther…Butch & Ridge Holland come through the crowd to attack Imperium…in the chaos, Gunther is passed a sheleighly…Sheamus goes for a Brogue Kick but Gunther cuts him off with the sheleighly & knocks him out…Gunther hooks a leg & gets the win (18:57).
