Rhino, Tommy Dreamer, and Crazy Steve defeats oVe

Crazy Steve is the mystery partner. Not much happened in the first eight minutes of the match, but oVe eventually got the advantage on Tommy Dreamer. He made the hot tag to Rhino who hit Dave Crist in the corner and connected with a belly to belly suplex.

Rhino hit a gore on one of the Crists for the pinfall victory.

Eddie Edwards Zoom Call with Josh Matthews

Edwards had to put his family first and chose not to come to Rebellion.

Gia Miller Interview with Michael Elgin

Elgin talks about becoming ROH World Champion. He went to New Japan where he beat Kenny Omega for the Intercontinental Championship. Elgin believes Blanchard and Edwards are scared to face him.

The Rascalz defeat XXXL and TJP and Fallah Bahh

TJP wrestled the first several minutes of the match with the Rascalz getting most of the offense. TJP and Fallah Bahh hit a combo splash for a near fall as Impact went to commercial.

When Rebellion returned from commercial Larry D and Fallah Bahh were in the ring. Ace Romero hit a big splash on Bahh and Larry D hit a hip attack to send Impact to another commercial.

The Rascalz made it into the ring, but the referee didn’t keep order with every team coming and going. Eventually XXXL got the advantage again isolating Dez. Wentz got back in the ring hitting Larry D with a cutter. Dez came off the top rope with a tornillo for the pinfall victory.

Interview with the North

They will find teams around Canada to defend their tag team titles against.

Willie Mack Interview

Mack seems upset because they aren’t wrestling for the Tag Team Titles. Swann cheers him up.

Recap of Rich Swann Getting Attacked by Reno Scum

Willie Mack defeats Ace Austin

Ace Austin spent the first couple of minutes on the outside, and he eventually drew Mack to the outside. Austin secured the advantage for some time, but Willie Mack caught Austin coming off the top rope surprising Ace with a Samoan drop. Although Mack hit a shooting star, he could not maintain an advantage.

Willie Mack hit Austin with the stunner, but Ace Austin snapped right back up and hit the fold for a near fall. When Ace Austin ran at Willie, Mack transitioned into a pop-up cutter for another near fall. When Willie Mack went to the top rope for the six star frog splash, Austin moved to the opposite corner. Mack hit the coast to coast, but then missed the six star frog splash.

A few minutes later, Mack tossed Austin off the top rope and hit the six star frog splash for the pinfall victory. Willie Mack is the new X-Division Champion

Rich Swann Backstage with Willie Mack

Swann suggests that they can become Tag Team Champions. Johnny Swinger came by to say that the Mack and Pack attack will live on in the hearts and minds of the “Miz-arks.” Swinger wanted to celebrate with Swann and Mack. They ditched him.

Kylie Rae defeats Kiera Hogan

Kylie had control for the first part of the match, but Kiera caught Kylie standing on the apron. When Impact returned from commercial, Kylie and Kiera continued to exchange mainly strikes. Both women connected with super kicks. When they got back to their feet, Kylie hit a pair of clotheslines and the Kylie special.

Kylie trapped Kiera in the corner and hit Kiera with an uppercut and a cannonball. Kylie locked in the STF for the submission victory.

Recap of Ken Shamrock and Sami Callihan Angle

Ken Shamrock defeats Sami Callihan

Sami attacked Shamrock on the outside before the bell officially rang. They fought on the outside with Shamrock leaping off the stage onto Sami Callihan. Action spilled to the backstage area as Rebellion went to commercial.

When Rebellion returned from commercial, they cut to a movie-like package. This was similar to the WWE Boneyard Match. The event proceeded in the backstage area where Sami hit Shamrock with trash cans and chains. Shamrock took back over. He was about to start beating Sami with a trashcan when oVe made the save. Madman Fulton started wearing Shamrock down with the trashcan.

Sami then attacked oVe with a baseball bat. Shamrock and Callihan stood up and agreed to finish the match in the parking lot. Sami hit Shamrock with a low blow and then put Shamrock in a choke hold. Shamrock rammed Callihan into a truck and then locked in the ankle lock submission.

The referee had to stop the match.

As far as pro wrestling movies go, this was pretty good. Nothing on the Boneyard Match.

Rebellion Preview

Impact Wrestling has provided their Storyline Preview.

Ken Shamrock (1-0) vs. Sami Callihan (1-1)

Ken Shamrock and Sami Callihan have collectively only wrestled three matches in all of 2020. Shamrock defeated Madman Fulton early in the year at the Hard to Kill PPV. Callihan lost the Impact World Title to Tessa Blanchard and defeated Tommy Dreamer.

Kylie Rae (1-0) vs. Kiera Hogan (3-1)

Kylie Rae’s only match of the year consisted of a victory over Cassandra Golden. Kiera Hogan has a loss to Jordynne Grace, but she has a series of victories over Su Yung, Lacey Ryan, and Ray Lyn.

Willie Mack (5-0) vs. Ace Austin (4-2)

Willie Mack is undefeated in singles competition defeating Rohit Raju, Johnny Swinger, Jay Bradley, Reno Scum, and all other opponents in the X-Division Scramble. Ace Austin has just two blemishes on his 2020 win-loss record with a pair of losses to Tessa Blanchard on February 22 and February 25. In the win column, Ace has defeated Tommy Dreamer, Trey on January 12, Trey again on April 14, and the collection of Moose, Fallah Bahh, and Eddie Edwards in a four way match.

Rhino, Tommy Dreamer, and a Mystery Partner vs. oVe

There isn’t much to say about two trio teams that haven’t teamed up all year. How about the combined records of all men. The individual records of oVe’s Dave Crist, Jake Crist, and Madman Fulton sum up to 1-15. Dreamer and Rhino are roughly 7-6-01.
