Kushida defeats Danny Burch
Kushida attempted to pick the leg of Burch, but Burch countered and cinched in an arm bar for the first minute of the match. The wrestling continued with both men taking turns stretching the other through the first five minutes of the match.
When Kushida went for a leap frog, Burch picked the leg and sent Kushida to the mat. Burch didn’t sustain the advantage though as Kushida knocked Burch to the outside. When Kushida leaped from the top rope, Burch caught him with an uppercut.
Moments later, Kushida used a handspring back elbow and a Thesz press off the apron to the floor. After a step up enziguri from Kushida, Burch again connected with a fist to the face. Kushida had to escape Burch’s crossface, but then he hit the cartwheel basement dropkick. Kushida immediately went for the hoverboard lock and secured the victory.
Jack Gallagher defeats Tyler Breeze
Breeze connected with a dropkick and cinched in a side headlock. Gallagher sent Breeze to the mat with a shoulder tackle and then hit Breeze with several strikes to the side of the face. Gallagher maintained control for the next couple of minutes, but Breeze hit a step up enziguri to even things back out. Breeze hit two forearms in the corner and a super model kick for a near fall. When Breeze climbed to the top rope, Gallagher wrenched Breeze’s arm down over the top rope and then locked in an arm-bar.
Breeze made it to the ropes. When action spilled to the outside, Breeze rammed Gallagher into the barricade before sending Gallagher back into the ring. As Breeze hopped back in the ring, Gallagher hit a discus elbow for the pinfall victory.
