Cameras scan the arena to show that the NXT talent is in the crowd.

Kevin Owens Show

  • Announces that he’s wrestling Angel Garza tonight.
  • Kevin Owens brings out his guest: Asuka
  • Asuka comes out chanting Becky and Kevin promotes Becky’s Mom shirt.
  • Replay Nia Jax interrupting Asuka’s celebration, Nia attacking Kairi backstage, and Asuka attacking Jax backstage.
  • Charlotte Flair comes out. She says that the Raw championship should have been handed to her. She then reminds Asuka that she has never defeated Charlotte.
  • Natalya comes out. Kevin Owens took the set down before Natalya could destroy it. She apologized for destroying the set.
  • Charlotte told Natalya that she was irrelevant.
  • Nia Jax came out and got in Asuka’s face.
  • Owens says “Whatever you do next, don’t hit Nia in the face.” Of course, Asuka did.

Apollo Crews Backstage Interview

He says tonight is the greatest night of his professional career. He’ll be the new United States Champion.

Apollo Crews defeats Andrade (08:24)

  • Andrade hit the spinning back elbow for a near fall early in the match. Zelina Vega hopped up on the apron. Apollo knocked Andrade into Vega before Raw went to commercial. Medical attempted to get Zelina Vega to leave, but she refused. Kayla Braxton interviews Angel Garza during the match. He compared wrestling to making love to a beautiful women.
  • Apollo Crews pins Andrade after a Gorilla Press Slam, a standing moonsault, and a standing shooting star press.
  • Apollo is the new United States Champion.

Seth Rollins Backstage Interview

He thanks Rey Mysterio for his sacrifice. Rollins talks about how he can’t imagine what it must have been like for his family to watch from home. Seth introduces us to Austin Theory: his newest disciple.

Backstage Interview with Charlotte

Charlotte says she sets the bar and nobody compares. Asuka dances into view and tells Charlotte that Red is not her color.

Iiconics In-Ring Interview

They apologize to each other. They say over their two dead bodies will the office’s favorite blonde keep the tag titles. Alexa and Nikki came out. The Iiconics told Nikki to stand there and look grateful . . . Nikki lost it on Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. The Iiconics attacked and took out the tag team champions.

MVP Shown Backstage with Lana

Lana says we need to talk and MVP says “no, we don’t.” He walks away.

VIP Lounge

Drew McIntyre comes out and turns over the furniture. McIntyre wants to know where he can find Bobby Lashley. MVP says Lashley won’t be making contact with Drew until Backlash. He then reminds Drew how MVP offered him advice and help, but instead Drew McIntyre kicked him in the face. He knew then that he would play a part in Drew McIntyre losing the WWE Championship.

When McIntyre says that Lashley will have to pry the championship out of his cold dead hands, MVP says that it can be arranged. As Lashley comes out to the ringside area, Drew hits MVP with a Claymore.

Backstage Interview with Natalya

TJ calls her and she gets upset.

Angel Garza defeats Kevin Owens (03:30)

  • As Kevin Owens made his way out to the ring, Angel Garza ran from the back and attacked his knee. Raw went to commercial.
  • Garza won by pinfall after hitting the wing clipper. The injured knee played a large part in Garza’s victory.

Golf Between Viking Raiders and Street Profits

Erik and Ivar are really bad. They dug up the course, had food, and gave the golf carts a flat tire. They went to mini golf. Ivar reaches into the hole and pulls out a wallet, a red solo cup, and a turkey leg.

Lana brings MVP some Ice

MVP explains that Drew McIntyre was sending a message to Bobby. He says they need to send one back and hands the ice back to her.

Murphy and Austin Theory defeat Aleister Black and Humberto Carillo (04:21)

  • Austin Theory got the pinfall victory on Humberto Carillo when Theory hit the ATL.

Post Match

Theory and Murphy toss Aleister Black into the time keepers area. They then pick up Humberto Carillo and Seth threatens to do to Carillo what he did to Rey Mysterio. Rollins says don’t make me do to the two of you what I did to Rey Mysterio.

Edge Backstage Interview

He says he’s doubting his ability because he was retired for 3,212 days. He doesn’t know if he can do what he used to do, but at Backlash he will dig to the very depths of his soul to try.

Street Profits and Viking Raiders

They discuss the next challenge. Viking Raiders choose Bowling. MVP comes by to challenge the Street Profits to a match tonight.

Nia Jax defeats Natalya and Charlotte (15:10)

  • Nia Jax connected with the Samoan drop on Natalya to earn the pinfall victory.
  • Jax will face Asuka for the Raw Championship at Backlash

Backstage Interview with Drew McIntyre

He won’t be leaving until after Lashley’s match.

R-Truth warns all the football men that he’s coming to get his baby back. Rob Gronkowski says growing up with 4 brothers has prepared him to defend the title anytime.

Ric Flair Pre-Taped Promo

He says Randy Orton is the greatest and will beat Edge.

Liv Morgan Pre-Taped Promo

Her biggest stumbling block in life has been her own self worth. She doesn’t have all the answers, but she is living her best life.

Street Profits defeat Bobby Lashley and MVP (11:16)

  • Bobby Lashley and MVP got disqualified when Bobby refused to release the Full Nelson. Lashley was not the legal man.

Post Match

Drew McIntyre came to ringside. The referee asked for some of the performance center people to help, but Lashley and McIntyre took them out and kept going.

Drew McIntyre is set to face MVP’s client Bobby Lashley at Backlash. On tonight VIP Lounge segment, MVP invites Drew McIntyre to talk.

Mini Golf

WWE has not officially announced this yet, but rumors around the internet are that the Viking Raiders will face the Street Profits in a mini golf competition tonight on Raw.

When they actually get to a wrestling match, here’s the win-loss information.

Erik and Ivar hold two 2020 victories over the Street Profits in  a triple threat match and a standard tag team match. They also have victories over the Singh Brothers, Cedric Alexander and Ricochet, and Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. Their only loss came earlier this year to Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy.

The Street Profits’ record includes the two aforementioned losses to the Viking Raiders plus an additional loss to Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy. Their five victories include Mojo Rawley and Riddick Moss, Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink, Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy on 3/2, and 3/8, and Angel Garza and Austin Theory on 4/4and 4/6.
